The education you'll get here can be phenomenal, and this truly is one of California's best public universities. But the large student population can make for a rather impersonal experience, that sense of being a small fish in a big sea. Sometimes just accomplishing a small task like finding parking or getting an ID card can be overwhelming. Learn to personalize your experience by asking questions, seeking out teachers and counselors, taking charge of your own education.
It's been called "the Neiman Marcus of thrift stores" and deserves the title. Everything is of wonderful quality, including the very nice furniture and accessories. More of a resale shop than a junk store. I love browsing here. A fair amount of "Industry" castoffs, I'd guess, if you like that stuff. Always worth a visit and a browse.

Your Review:
* Be conversational: Write it as if relaying your experience to a good friend.
* Be specific: Generalities like "lazy service" or "tasty pizza" leave people wanting more detail.
* Be yourself: If you're an expert on burgers, let us know. If this is your first-time massage, say so.
* Be fair: Comparing the city's top French restaurant to a neighborhood taco stand is just silly.

This Thrift Shop is the best...luxury goods at thrift shop prices. The items arrive from top class sources and it shows. The parking is easy...the staff friendly and helpful and the furniture selection and linens and housewares in their Annex across the street exceptional.
It is a constant amazement to me that the merchandise in this thrift store is so beautiful. Always in tiptop shape, nothing soiled or spoiled. The staff and volunteers keep the two stores immaculate and are very cheerfully helpful. You should do yourself a good turn and visit the store and I bet is will not be the last.
Pros: Ambience, service, city parking nearby. excellent quality of merchandise
Cons: Where could I find the time to visit more frequently?
I couldn't believe the quality of merchandise carried by this store. And the help was exceptional! They told me they are constantly receiving terrific items, and I will definitely keep going back to check them out. I got some fabulous bargains on my first visit. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for great stuff at great prices.
New merchandise delivered daily. Great staff. I always come away with a unique designer piece. LOVE IT!
Pros: Proceeds go the UCLA Medical Center
Donors to this shop are well-heeled. You can always find designer handbags, shoes, and clothing. Not to mention the amazing selection of estate jewelry and fine art - they have an appraiser on duty to confirm authenticity and value. Persian rugs, grand pianos, furniture, china, and houseware are available as well.
All the proceeds from this shop go directly to the UCLA Medical Center to fund special projects and equipment like the Critical Care Ambulance, People Animal Connection and Teddy Bears for pediatric patients just to name a few.
