If you know how to choose fresh grocery, like to save money and able to check the receipt/bill this is the place.

All the other reviews whether bad or good are all true.

You can find great bargain deal and also can pick up dirty meat and pay the wrong amount because she punch the wrong price.

I bought a bag of rice with a price tag for $5.99. When it was scanned at the counter, it reflected a price of $6.49, so I asked the cashier why it was showing $6.49.Apparently it was the old price, but they raised it so I now have to pay $6.49. That's not fair. They have to give the consumer the lowest posted price. They claim they forgot to cover the old price with the new one. Well that's not my problem, I insisted they give me the price tagged
on the product. They wouldn't give that to me. That was unbelievable. After minutes of complaining, they finally gave it to me for $5.99, but implied that I probably placed that price tag. Where would I get that tag? And they just admitted it was their old price that they forgot to cover.

Another thing, late last year, they started giving out $1.00 coupon for every $20 grocery purchase, that can be used at their deli, but when people started redeeming, they said it's no longer valid although it was only Dec 20. The promo was advertised to end Dec.24.

This is the worst uncleanness Market I??ve seen since my visit to the Philippines! As soon as you walk in the door the place stinks horribly. You have these Asians in the front who argue constantly waving the arms, hardly speak English. Don??t know how to work the register. Or at least just act like they don??t . You have to double check your receipts because they always overcharge or punch in an item more then once. Mexicans in the back mostly working the Live fish , crab, frog produce who don??t speak English either Probably illegal aliens. They hand you these used dirty buckets to put the so called FRESH FISH in. That have had live Frogs Catfish and such in them. The frogs look like they just came out of some canal. The tanks are growing some kind of molds where again they keep there live FRESH FISH, crab and whatever. There floors are covered in goop which make it unsafe to walk. The shopping carts are disgustingly dirty and rusty with rotten fish and vegetables stuck to them. Much of the produce is either spoiled or wilted with bugs. The Restrooms I wouldn??t go in there if I were you. I??ve witnessed the food handlers go in and out without washing there hands for one there wasn??t any hand cleaner, paper towel or toilet paper. Maybe there washing there butts with water like the do in Asia T.P. is a necessity in there countries not a must have. Those old gizzers have the worst attitudes they definitely don??t have people skills. There parking area looks like a war zone. Talk about the nasty of the nasties. Keep in mind much of there produce and meat here have not passed thru inspections and don??t care about cleanliness or picking up salmonella or dysentery or something else .If you dont mind that well then you might just feel right at home here.
The health Dept has had numerous complaints about this store and has given them warnings. They found a number of health violations and will keep them on their toes or close them down.

Every Monday, my family and I do our grocery shopping here. They got a variety of vegetables and seasonings for my favorite food. They got fesh fishes and they will even clean and cut your fish the way you want. I also love going over here to find my favorite chips which are exported back home. The only problem is that they got very long lines. So to avoid long lines, try shopping between 7 and 8 pm. Very good value.

A good oriental store with a full meat and seafood department where they will custom cut your meats, clean and fry your fish. Their veggies are fresh but the store is always crowded with anxious shoppers. Parking is hard to find because of all the other shops in the area.

I love shopping at this market. I can find all the freshest ingredients for my Filipino recipes and get my fish cleaned and cooked all at the same time. YES!! they have a full service meat and seafood department. You cannot beat the prices in the produce. They have everything you will ever need to cook up a great dinner.

PROS: They will cook your fish for free
CONS: VERY VERY BUSY

The Manila Oriental Market is one of several large asian grocery stores around the Daly City area. This one has a good selection of fresh produce, fresh meats and fresh seafood. When I say fresh seafood, they actually have tanks in the back of the store where the seafood department is located and have live bass, lobster, crabs, catfish swimming around.

This is a great place to go for good vegetables. They carry a wide variety of items that are not easily found in chain supermarkets. They carry many items from the Phillipines and the rest of asia as well. They also offer a frequent buyer program where you get vouchers depending on how much you spend which can be used to purchase food from their deli counter.

This supermarket is a good place to look for Asian goods, but probably not the best choice for mainstream items like cereal (turnover reasons). The prices are average for an Asian supermarket, but they do have a huge variety of items available, including seafood. There are many alternative Asian supermarkets within the vicinity, but this one is very popular, so it's advisable to park outside their dedicated lot as it gets extremely crowded and the drivers are dangerous.

This place is very big. They just remodeled the place so it's even bigger. They sell lots of food from all around the world. They have lots of fresh fruits, meat, and vegetables. Tons of asian food, snacks, and goodies. Their pricing is very cheap. They have very fast checkout lines. Parking is really good in this area.
