I would probably agree with portions of alot of these reviews. The food is average but decent, the menu is not adventurous and the service was patchy.

I went there for lunch buffet, by myself.

When I arrived, I was asked three times if I want to eat in or pick up food. I said I want to eat in. "Only one? Only One? " they asked me several times. Then, they pointed to the tables--like:

When I saw that this restaurant had five stars and such low prices, I thought "Wow, this must be one of those super cool holes in the wall that you only stumble upon by accident or have to hear about through your friends," but I was wrong.

Cons: THEY ARE STILL OOPEN!

last time i went to eat there with my girl friend, we saw this guy standing in the corner, he had a long beard and a huge turban on his head. i am not trying to be racist that is besides the fact. first of all he kept starring at my girl friend which made her feel very uncomfortable and wanted to leave... that was the first offense. after wards he walked into the kitchen and we started to hear odd screams (noises), it sounded like somebody was getting beaten up...
due to that i asked the server what was happening in the kitchen??? and i told him that the man with the turban kept starring at my girlfriend...

and now you won't believe me what answer i got.

the guys said, "oh sorry thats my dad, he is the boss!!!
thats the way he he is."
this person could easily be a child rapist or a terrorist.

what bad energie that place has, horrible!

I know this place since they open. I eat there 100's of time in past 6 years. I am in love with there food. Best thing i like about there food is very healthy and not greasy at all. they don't use any artifical food coloring. Best dishes are chicken tikka masala, lamb madras, shahi machli, bombay chicken, rack of lamb and frankies, palak naan and peshwari naan. Staff is so friendly, service is great. Best place for candle night romantic dinner.

Honestly, I would not recommend people to go this place because of their extremely poor customer service. I will give them a zero on a scale of 1 to 10. We had been here last evening and the waiter who served our table of four was this be-spectacled Indian guy. He first of all had this air of supremacy or high handed attitude towards us. I would rate my group as one that is not too fussy about judging quality of indian food and just to mention all four of us are connoiseurs of indian food. This guy initially brought us the so-called 'VEGETABLE SOUP' which was just a thick concoction of lentils. We did make an effort to ask him if this was the soup as meant to be...he had that rare audacity of lying to us and the rudeness in is reply. Continuing with this, he had different yardsticks of service for our table and the rest of the restaurant patrons. He hardly came to ask for any more water etc. Also, he had forgot a portion of our order initially and tried to make up for it saying that it's almost ready. Added to this we suddenly had a change of waiter mid-course during our dinner. On the whole the bottom line is I respectfully dis-agree with all the below mentioned reviews since the food also was very average to top it off. We did want to make our voice heard to the manager but he was busy with his own set of guests.

The food and service were good. Dinner for two was about $40.00 and most people were in their 20's -40's, so it was a mix of office outfits, jeans. If you want to go with friends, or on a relaxed date, this was really a good place. Although, I have noticed a change since last fall; they seem more concerned with pushing the drinks and making the money than being as relaxed and welcoming as they once were.

If you're afraid of Indian food, or know you love it try this place! Everything here is very good, even the service! It's also very cute and the dining experience is very enjoyable. I can't remember anymore what it is we ate, but I know we made sure to order naan and samosas (which we try to do at every Indian restaurant we go to they are really yummy almost anywhere). We were lucky enough to go with one of the $25 off $40 coupons we bought on Restaurant.com for $5.00 with a 50% off promotion code. If they are still running the coupon you should try this place out.
