Golden Hunan Chinese Rstrnt

I've eaten at many different Chinese restaurants in the past. None of them have been super high quality but each and every one has had decent food for a reasonable price...until now. At Golden Hunan Chinese Restaurant the food was a little more pricey than others yet the quality compared to eating food directly out of a dumpster. The chicken tasted like it had been microwaved from several nights ago which was interesting because it literally took 2 minutes to receive my take-out meal. Also, the chicken had disgusting chunks of fat hanging from each and every piece and the soy sauce was of very low quality. The rice I would say was a little below average which was very welcoming considering the overall taste of the rest of the meal. If I could give this restaurant negative stars I would based upon my experience with the food.

The Golden Hunan Restaurant - A Review.This Chinese restaurant is convenient, affordable, welcoming and best of all has great food.We have been patrons of this restaurant for over 20years and the consistence of the food is match by the consistency of the service as well as the servers. Great Chinese food at very reasonable prices. Even though we've moved out of the area, we continue to visit whenever possible. The restaurant is very clean and service good. A great family restaurant!

Been eating here for a while. Always good food. It's a bit worn down these days but the food is still delicious as ever. I suggest their Hunan Pan Fried Noodles. Or if you're looking for good fish, their steamed fish (only if you like ginger).

Although this place offers standard Chinese fare, their service is terrific and we love their soups. You have to try their chicken corn soup or the sweet and sour soup, especially if you happen to have a sore throat- it will cure you in one shot! A little on the pricey side, but worth it!

Keep returning to this place because one of the employees makes us feel welcome everytime! A very unusual feature for a chineese restaurant. THe food always the same with no surprises. Interior needs updating for wear and tear.
