Yes, I was scared to death...but went for the navel piercing. I had done some research and heard this place was CLEAN, and they weren't kidding, think pristine! Matteo was great, talked me through it, all was well. The jewelry choices are great...I will return once healed to get a new piece in place. Just an all around great experience! I highly recommend Apogee!
This is the best place in San Diego to go for a piercing. Dr Jefe is just awesome. He is very professional, but also laid back and a lot of fun. The office is small, but comfortable. Dr jefe's is very clean and sanitary. They offer a variety of jewelry of varying sizes for sale.
Dr. Jefe's is a quality place for piercing. I had a piercing done here, and was very pleased with it. They were good with explaining the after care, and I never had any problems. The only downer? Their jewelry is very expensive, so it might be deceifing... the piercing price seems reasonable, until you pick a decent piece of jewelry and it jacks the price up.
This is another wonderful place to go for any of your piercing or tattoo needs. The prices here are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. They talk you through what you want to make sure they get it right and they have an nice selection of jewelry for whatever you want to pierce. Dr. Jefe's is safe and clean, so I would recommend it!

I've been here twice. First was just to change the ball on my cartilage hoop (since it's sometimes a pain to do it yourself). Even with a simple thing like that they were extremely sanitary. Second time was earlier this week to get my eyebrow pierced. First, let me say that I'm the BIGGEST with needles. My first piercing (at another place) I cried, fainted.. the works! So I let them know and they were very sympathic, patient and even encouraging about it. I had Matteo.. who was amazing! Highly recommend him! He guided me through the process so I'd have no surprises, was incredibly patient and understanding. Nice and conversational too which calmed my nerves. He did the piercing free hand and it took about 2 seconds. Best of all.. it didn't hurt! Felt like a small pinch! It's been about a week now and I've had no problems with the piercing in terms of bruising, etc. All in all, I came in scared as could be but because of the amazing staff, left having a great experience!
Pros: Sanitary, nice / skilled staff, reasonable pricing
Cons: Parking around the area is tricky
