I would not shop here agin.
Cutting to the chase, we ordered additional lace in Feb 2012 but it was not actually ordered until 9/20 -- when I paid for it! Then when we picked up the dress on 10/1 we had a surprise $75 fee for the lace.
I don??t know why the additional lace we wanted was not originally ordered with the dress in February, but once the dress came in and before they called us for the first fitting they should have confirmed that they had the lace. Then, at our first fitting when the young clerk couldn??t find the lace she should have made a note for the owner to find it the next business day. At that time if it wasn??t in the store it should have been ordered. Shame on me for not being more forceful and insisting that I see the lace in August, but shame on them for not realizing it was missing after our fitting. When they finally admitted it was missing on September 20th and ordered it they did not make any mention that what I was paying was an estimate or partial payment. If that was the case it should have been written on my receipt that it was a partial payment and additional funds would be (or might be) due after it came in. On the 28th when we went in and the sleeves were cut and tacked into the dress no one brought up that additional money was due for the lace even though I did make a purchase of the bra and supposedly they brought up our account on the computer when I paid for the bra. I don??t know the truth about the $75 fee, did the lace really cost $225 and not the $150 I paid or was the $75 fee a rush shipping fee. I don??t know and I don??t care ?? the service at Mia Bella not only is sub-par it is deceitful!

Recently my daughter and I went shopping at Mia Bella for her Prom dress. She is a senior graduating this year, and she has been accepted to UC Davis. As a treat for all of her hard work and studying, I thought that I would splurge on a dress for her. She had purchased her winter formal dress from Mia Bella, and she had loved it! We had shopped online, something that we do not normally do. She bought a dress sight unseen. It was a full length beautiful dress however when it arrived she didn't like it. After a lot of discussion we decided to go to Mia Bella. Prom was only a week a way. She found a dress at Mia Bella and fell in love with it. It was pricey, over $300 but I wanted her Prom to be perfect. The sales girl was helpful and patient. We noticed that the pleating was un-sewn, and we were told by the salesgirl no problem our seamstress will repair it for you at no charge. The dress was promised to be ready in two days. My daughter showed up to get her dress and the seamstress had taken her dress home. And.. my daughter had to wait over an hour for her. Evidently the seamstress had stopped for a coffee. My daughter was told that the seamstress operated on her own time frame. She was told to return the next day. The seamstress arrived and apologized before she left. I returned the next afternoon to pick up her dress. The seamstress didn't sew the pleats that needed to be fixed and the ones that she did-she used a bigger thread which left a hole in the fabric. The fabric is white and sheer. The salesgirl immediately called out the seamstress. I asked for the manager. I did state that I thought it was unprofessional for a seamstress to take a dress home, be at Starbucks when she is expected back, and sew a dress incorrectly. The manager took the dress in the back with a needle and thread and then came out and claimed that I wouldn't be happy with the repair. She refused my business and I was told that she would refund the dress. I didn't have my daughter with me, so this wasn't an option. With her Prom a few days a way, I do not understand this kind of business practice. I never raised my voice. I stood up for what I believed would be fair treatment to a customer who purchased an expensive dress and expected the dress to be unblemished. Although the dress experience has put a cloud over my daughters head, I will not allow it to ruin her evening. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Mia Bella. Customer service is not what they are known for!

Zero Stars, for sure. They're horrible and rude and if you don't look like money, they don't care. Please don't go there. It might be fun to play dress up, but the service is terrible. The first time I went in there it was dead. It was about 1:30 on a tuesday or thursday afternoon. I had just been at the gym and had some other "messy" errands to run, so I didn't bother getting dressed up after the gym. I was really interested in a dress that was like 6k. I stopped in to see if it could be ordered. They didn't know, and wouldn't give me a ballpark on the dress. Okay, whatever. They were also rude, condescending, and generally looked and talked at me because of how I looked. Sorry people generally don't look like a million bucks after running 3 or 4 miles. I was told they'd call me back and never did. I figured, alright, my fault, I look awful and probably looked "poor". Fast forward about a month. I got dolled up in my most expensive clothes and shoes and went back intent on looking at dresses. I told the one son about my previous experience and he apologized. I got an appointment with the owner. I was a little discouraged because a lot of the higher-end bridal samples don't come in realistic sizes, but they assured me that they would make the dresses fit me. I had a few that I wanted to try and I was really excited. I had just had surgery to remove a tumor. So I had a whole lot going on and needed a pick-me-up. I get to my appointment, and I got to try on my dress that I wanted. I wasn't really satisfied with it, but she did slice the seam open to try and make it fit (The sample would fit a street size like 2.) It was nice that she did that, but I was disappointed she wouldn't let me try on a bigger sample dress in another size that I really did like. "You can't top that one on you" was her response. She told me the price and I said I would think about it. about two weeks ago (3 months after) she called to check up on me. I told her I bought the dress through someone else substantially cheaper. She got frustrated and hung up on me. Didn't give me a chance to say thank you or that I would still get shoes, accessories, reception dress, and bridesmaids dresses through them. Well, we went there again today so my friend could try on her bridesmaids dress and get measured. They didn't measure her, didn't give us the time of day and the owner was SUPER snotty! We just tried the dress on and poked around and left. We were in the parking lot deciding where to go to dinner and talking about the wedding and other things. The owner called the cops! I guess there is one that is in the building permanently. So, the actual cop came up to us and asked if we were waiting for the store and we said no, we had just finished and were deciding where to go to dinner. We weren't being loud or rude or destructive. We were just talking. We were there for maybe 20 minutes. But seriously, call the cops? She had to be seriously looking hard at us. I'm sorry to say, but not only did they lose out on a 5k dress, but also about 2k in bridesmaids stuff and accessories. It's not the way you make money or generate business. Ugh....awful. I work in customer service, and if they were my employees, they would be fired.

FANTASTIC experience!!! Debbie is AMAZING and treated me with nothing but amazing service. I feel like she truly wanted what was best for me. She really is one in a million. I know she doesn't know how much she truly helped me today, but she did. you see, I bought a dress there about a year ago.... she could tell my frustration on how it wan't they dress of my dreams. She BENT over backwards to make my dream dress come true. I really was almost in tears that someone who barely knows me treated me with such love and care. It was moving to say the least. AND on top of that, my sister in law went in there 5 months ago on my suggestion. She is a plus size bride who was frustrated that she couldn't try on anything (most samples are a size 8-12). She fell in LOVE with a dress at mia bella. Debbie straight up took the dress off the shelf, took scissors to the back seam and made it fit on her. My sister in law was SO incredibly touched by this. No one has ever made her feel so special. AND yes, she bought the dress. And she has praised Mia Bella ever since. Do yourself a favor and go here. It was an awesome experience!

Mia Bella Couture made my bridal experience a true one. My gown was gorgeous and I felt like I was the only bride alive when I was at the store trying on my gowns. They went out of their way to make sure everything I needed was taken care of. My whole bridal party, myself and flower girl got our dresses from there!!! I recommend them to ALL Brides, they carry great designers and the store is beautiful. The best in town!!

I just moved from the Los Angeles area and for the last 5 months haven't found a store that has great fashions, service, and most importantly honesty. I just got that and more from Mia Bella, they showed me three dresses and the one that they advised me most fit what I was wearing it to and my style was the least costly of the three. Most people would have directed me to the $300 dresses but they shared with me that what I was wearing it to the $89.00 would be the best choice. OMG I think they are absolutely my favorite store and the fashion is more like what I am accustom to in Los Angeles. So I really had an great experience and would recommend it to anyone.
