Sorry, but the one time I decided to try this dubious looking Sushi Restaurant my family was not happy. We waited for 45 minutes for service and then recieved items we were familiar with but not the taste was off. We haven't been back since. If you want cheap prices then give it a whirl, otherwise go to any of the other numerous Sushi bars in the area.

This place serves up a wide variety of sushi - you can pluck your sushi off one of the boats that go around and around, or order directly from a server. They also have other Japanese dishes like noodles and teriyaki meats - most of which are ok. The sushi is definitely what to order here. Sushi Village is a nice alternative to other things going on around Emeryville, but their service, which ranges from apathetic to nearly hostile deters me from going more often. I've been here more than five times - and each time has been horrible service-wise.

PROS: sushi
CONS: a little expensive - and disappointing service
