Koreatown is flocked with a variety of coffee shops. Koffea is one of the more trendy one that I've been too. There is no old sofa here to sink yourself into. Instead, the decor is modern and the furniture is stylish. Think of it as the high-end of all coffee shops with free wireless. My friends and I went there to work on a Sunday afternoon. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. Like most Korean places, there is a buzzer that you press if you want services from the staff. This cuts down time you actually have to go to the counter. They have a variety of desserts that you have to try according to my friends. The place definitely picks up come evening where groups come to hang and play cards. It seems like quite a hangout place. The only downside is that on Sunday afternoon they do no serve food food, i.e. sandwiches. I also finds it disappointing that such a place has a 'B' rating.

Pros: Ambience, lots of space

Cons: B rating

Koffea is a two story cafe, serving coffee, ice-blended coffee, iced teas, hot teas, Asian teas, traditional Korean teas with pieces of fruit, ice cream, etc. It has so many rooms, each with a different decor and theme, so it was a fun place to bring friends and talk for hours. My friends and I ordered traditional Korean teas, which cost $4.50. We also ventured into different rooms before settling down. Our waitress gave us a pitcher of hot water so we could refill our cups, and we had a button to call for the waitress.

Pros: reasonable prices, soft background music
