Some of the best Mediterranean eats in town. The atmosphere is the same as any other in the Grove Farmer's Market -- on a sunny day, you can't beat it. Most recently had the chicken shawarma plate with spicy hummus and baba ghanoush.

Pros: Spicy Hummus

Cons: Cash Only

This is authentic Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food, practically on par with Zankou! They prepare it fairly quickly and it never disappoints. The portions are generous. The service, however... well, it pretty much sux. Don't expect

Pros: Great food, good portions, worth the prices

Cons: Less-than-desireable service, crowded chairs and tables (in Farmer's Market)

.

Located inside the Farmer's Market, Moishes offers delicious Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food, including falafel, shish kabob, tabouleh, and chicken schwarma sandwiches. But they can be a little pricey and they don't take credit cards.

PROS: Great Middle Eastern Food
CONS: Cash only

It doesn't look like the people running this place are happy to see customers ordering food at their place. There will be no smiles and if you don't really know what entree or side orders you want then be prepared for some brusque remarks.

Pros: Food is OK

Cons: Impolite people

This place bills itself as the "Best Middle Eastern Food in L.A." Not quite. The gyros are cut ahead of time and then warmed up in a microwave when you order. What might of had some taste is completely killed by nuking it. The women
