Had major hail damage. Took it 2 harry's. They made me a great deal. When I left my car

there my bf picked me up in his car. Except when he got there, it began 2 experience mechanical problems. Chris fixed his car & had us on our way in a matter of minutes. They have 2 customers 4 life and I will go to these guys 4 any & all of my car's needs. Thanks again harry's automotive.

Harry is a good mechanic, he fixed the hose that broke in my car and also repaired the bushings. His price was good and work was done quickly.

As of June 8, the situation below was resolved.

I have (had to ) file a complaint with the better bus. bureau. This is a partial response to their lies I do not like to complain. I'm very upset by the treatment of this company. PLEASE BE WARNED. SO FAR THEY TOOK MONEY MONEY AND WILL NOT RETURN IT NOR FIX MY BIKE.

I went in for just an oil change today after reading all the good reviews and having had horrendous experiences at other places in LA. First off, the oil change was started exactly when he said he would start on the phone, and was finished exactly when he said it would be. The price was perfectly reasonable, but what really sold me was Harry himself. After telling him that I came in response to the good reviews here, he looked me straight in the eye and told me how important it was to him to run an honest service and how many places in the area had closed because of bad business practices. He told me about teaching automechanics at a University, and how his mother had been taken advantage of by mechanics in the past and his company prided themselves on good reviews and primarily word of mouth. He said all of this in front of his brother and an employee, neither of whom were rolling their eyes or seemed to be laughing on the inside, and it definitely gave me the impression I had finally found what I'd been looking for in LA... An honest, reliable automechanic!

These guys are awesome.

I had a fairly extensive repair which they did quickly, efficienctly, at a very good price - all while being extremely courteous.

They were incredibly easy to deal with - and I never had any doubt that they knew exactly what they were doing.

Have no concerns. These guys will do a superb job.

Got my axles replaced and clutch fixed. They were fast, let me know what needed to be done with no pressure to spend unneeded money. I've had several auto bodies tell me I needed new axles, and Harry's quote was the best I got. They gave the Citysearch discount without me saying anything, and washed my car as well! Highly recommended.

the reviews on here are right on, honest, reliable guys. they do good work, which is rare in this town. i had my breaks done, they charged a fraction of what the dealer quoted me.

Harry's is a place I know that Ii do not have to worry about whether they are giving me an honest assessment of my vehicle needs, the shop manager has given me confidence that they will not onlyy look out for my vehicle but me also understanding in these tight times that keeping costs under control and offering the most for my dollar makes me a loyal customer.

I went to Harry's because of the good reviews on Citysearch. I felt taken care of, not cheated, and told honestly what was going on with my car. Harry fixed my car as needed, and no more. He told me there was more that could and should be done, but that it wasn't necessary which allowed me to make a decision based on my budget, yet feel that I was safe. He's a great guy, and not out to take advantage of people. He'll fix your car correctly and not do more than needs to be done. I highly recommend Harry's.

I found Harry's work to be better than the other guys I have gone to in the area. He fixed my car, quickly & did not try and get me to have any "extra' work done...which seems to be rare these days.

Harry's turned out to be a dream from the moment we drove in to the time we picked up the 2004 Prius that had been vandalized. I was told it would be a min. of two days for the work, it turned out to take only one and was called promptly. Great job,treated respectfully and given choices as to how I wanted to hand the insurance or no insurance side of the job. At no time was I pressured to have my work done there and was given an estimate that was fair. I inspected about 3 cars in the shop before I agreed to have the work done. I can honestly say I will return with all my automotive body work and smog checks. In the past I've only believed my auto mechanic was the last honest person in town, now I've found Harry's. Thank you.

Do not mistake this Harry's for the one on South La Brea. I've never used that Harry's....BUT THIS ONE IS GREAT.

some one side swiped my audi, while i was parked in front of my work. paint came off, some denting....i was very, very upset. a friend recommended harry's so i took my car there to get repaired. they did a great job. i was happy with the price as well.

I went to Harry's to have some body work done on my BMW. I was rear ended and the back of my car was a mess. They gave me a great rate at Enterprise ($26 per/day) while my car was in the shop, when they were done it looked brand new! I was very happy, and would definitely go back.

I have been taking my car to Harry's for about 3 years now, and figured I should write a review. They always do go work. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. The prices are good, and they are very nice to deal with.

I took in my 2001 bmw 3-series in for a noise i was hearing from the engine compartment. When i entered, i was greeted very well. they told me the time it would take for them to find the problem, and i agreed. They were fast and were able to find the problem and fix it. I also saw that they do body repair and had my right quarter panel painted because of a key scratch. I Highly Recommend. ALso the prices were fair, and the quality outstanding.

I have taken my car here a few times and have always been happy with their work. As a woman, I always feel like I am going to get ripped off, but they gave me a good price (I called around for other quotes to make sure). My car is back in action, running better than ever. I will definitely be back.

After my "check engine" light came on, I immediately went on high alert to get my car checked and fixed. I came across Harry's Automotive which I had seen had pretty good reviews here on Citysearch. Well my experience was unfortunately horrible. After spending a little over $400, my front brakes (which were supposed to have been replaced) still screeched and my "check engine" light came on later in the week after Harry, himself (which was surprising), took a look at it and supposedly "fixed" it. Needless to say I took my car back at which time I told him how the "check engine" light came back on and my brakes were still making noise. He found the "real" problem with the engine and told me the brakes were fine (they weren't, and have never been silent since the day I paid that first $400 amount. Anyway, he charged me $69.00 for the second check up which I argued about but finally gave up. I went to a smaller auto shop and thank God this guy was straight forward and honest. Harry's Automotive is too pricey and to this day, I feel insulted for the lousy work his shop did. ... or didn't do it would seem. I wish I could go back in time, I lost so much money to that place and for nothing it seems.

Cons: Unfortunately I don't feel like honest work was done and they overcharge on labor.
