Kern Federal Credit Union

Service is second to None. Kernfcu.org has great service. They were willing to work with me on my Loan to keep my house and called me when I was late.

I find that there fee's are lower and the customer service is much better than Kern Schools Federal Credit Union. I say if you are wanting to be treated as a person and not a Number this would be the Credit Union For YOU!

This credit union is used by many of the county employees. They have okay rates, but you can do better over at Kern Schools Federal Credit Union. However, if you do a lot of special service type transactions that are usually "fee" services this might be the credit union for you. Kern Federal has lower fees almost across the board than Kern Schools Federal Credit Union. I wasn't super impressed with the knowledge of the tellers here as they didn't even know what the "fee schedule" form was that the Federal Government requires all banks/credit unions to have on hand when customers request them. Once I called them on the phone though their teller service person was able to help me out without a problem.
