I used to be a member of this Gym, and it was really disappointed .They charged me twice for the 3 month fee on two separate occasions. When I requested to cancel my membership due to this error. They charged my account an additional time. When finally after many calls, was able to speak with the owner Elio, his answer to me was: It was OK since after all I "needed" to workout. I felt that was an inappropriate comment. I would never return to that gym even if was the last one in Town. And I would never recommend it to anyone. Some trainers look the part and are appropriately dressed while there was one that dressed more like a truck driver then a trainer.

This gym is a nice place to work out. There's some things I like about Elio's Fitness. One thing I like is that the facility is more private than places like Bally's Fitness or LA Fitness. They have in-house trainers there that will help you train for a resonable price. The facility itself is not that big, but there are not a lot of people there at a given time which makes it more relaxed and more private. I think it would be a good gym for those ladies who don't want sweaty, horny, and/or invading men hitting on them. I also think this would be a good gym for people who may be a little embarrassed of there initial apperance, so, because there are not that many people at Elio's, it would be comfortable for that person. Oh yeah, because it's small, you can meet the owner, so he might let you try the gym before you join. This gym is a definite must try.
PROS: Small, private, in-house trainers, compfortable, friendly, and helpful.
CONS: Sort of hard to spot, lacking some facilities like a pool and dance studio.

Amazing Experience

I had just about given up when I met Sophia Ruiz and she asked me to come into Elio's Gym. To be honest, I dreaded it, because I am overweight and 64 years old. The thought of going into a gym where beautiful people worked out was not my cup of tea.
When I got the nerve to walk in, it was the nicest, friendliest place, with a caring and interested staff, all anxious to put me at ease.
I have already lost 25 pounds and I feel terrific!
All the beautiful modern machines, the personal attention, and the feeling that Elio really cares about each and every one of us is just wonderful.

Elio's gym experience

I have been to every gym in the L.A. area and as soon as I walked into Elio's Fitness For Success I felt at home. The staff was warm and welcoming, Elio, the owner, treated me with the highest respect, and the equipment is the top of the line best I have ever seen. I started out using the Physical Therapy Department at Elio's Gym and they were very knowledgeable, and respectful, and got me feeling like myself again. I have been a member now for over 3 months and have never been happier. I have a trainer there now, and am getting the results I have always wanted! I've lost 15 lbs already! I feel amazing and I owe it to Elio's Gym and my Trainer Sophia Ruiz whose positive attitude has made me accomplish goals I never knew I could reach!

I used to belong to Golds, but I was tired of the scene, and not getting the results that I wanted. Elio's has the best equipment + trainers, they really give u the tools that u need to actually see results.
