Probably the best iced coffe in the world. You must try the cream cakes baked fresh in a cool machine. the prices could not be beat anywhere. I absolutely love this place...

Pros: best cream cakes
Cons: long lines
They have some coffee here that is not only good but very strong. It is like drinking two red bulls at once!

I am Vietnamese and I think Lee's has the worst Vietnamese sandwiches around. They do not put enough pate, their mayonnaise is strangely sweet, and not enough soy sauce either. Their croissant sandwiches are even worst. Dry and tasteless. It is crowded because of the atmosphere & not the food. You'd be better off trying Vietnamese baguette sandwiches at Tan Hoang Huong at the corner of Euclid & Edinger in Fountain Valley or Dong Hung Vien at the corner of Westminster and Newland inside the Stater Bros. shopping center. Dong Hung Vien has great Capuccino w/ boba too (made with Vietnamese coffee). Hot baguette @ $1.00 for 2.

Pros: Clean & chic place w/ nice contemporary designs.
Cons: Bad food. Crowded. No parking.
I know this is a sandwich place, but they have the best Iced Coffee around! So good, I usually buy the quart and take it home. It's true what one reviewer said about putting half the cup full of ice. If any of you have never had Vietnamese coffee, it's very strong. Putting a lot of ice in there means you can drink it slowly until the ice melts and dilutes it. If you drank a whole cup without the ice, you'd be pretty jittery. Anyway, as far as the food, your typical Vietnamese sandwich is probably an acquired taste. The basic ones have BBQ or grilled pork or chicken and then is topped off with pickled daikon and carrots, cilantro, and a jalapeno. Pretty good in my book, but not everyones. They also have various types of desserts in here and most of them are decent.

Pros: Great coffee, Delicious bread
Cons: Can be crowded at any time
This sandwich store is not your ordinary sandwich store. With a multitude of yummy vietnamese sandwiches to choose from, you won't go home hungry. The thing that makes them distinct from all of the other vietnamese sandwich stores everywhere else is definitely their bread. Sweet and crunchy with just the right amount of "bounce" in the bread, it'll leave you wanting more. In addition to the sandwiches, the smoothies and drinks are fantastic. If you're hungry, make sure to get there early because there's always a line out the door!
Caution, not every Lee's Sandwich is the same. I have heard that some stores taste really gross in comparison.

I always get the #6 - BBQ Pork sandwich. I've tried some of the "European" sandwiches, and they were disappointing (but not horrible). The food is cheap, the service is very quick, the interior is both bright and clean, and the crowd is diverse.
Lee's menu is so large and daunting that it would be ridiculous to give them an even slightly negative review - especially if a person has only tried a few items.
It's always crowded because of their many food offerings (as one previous reviewer stated quizzically), but I think that's totally understandable.

Pros: cheap and clean, relatively healthy , big back-lot parking
Cons: no drive-thru, cramped front parking, ultra-busy lunchtime
I've heard of the legend of Lee's Sandwiches and their banh mi and was eager to try them out. I must admit the sandwiches were a bit disappointing, but perhaps I'm just spoiled by the quality of Mr. Baguette. The bread was above average and the sandwich lacked a bit of seasoning.
PROS: Cheap!
CONS: Not as tasty as expected

This place has the best sandwiches that you could taste .they have a wide variety of choices they are well priced for what you get which is a big sandwich.
PROS:
CONS: crowded
The most prominent name in banh mi, the French influenced Vietnamese sandwich, this is a real treat. Get the #6 and one of their sweetened coffees and enjoy.
5I've passed this place at 7 a.m. on a weekday and the parking lot is FULL. They have Vietnamese sandwiches as well as standard "American" sandwiches, like turkey and cheese. I don't get all the fuss -- the quality of the sandwich isn't fantastic, even by cheap standards -- but apparently everybody loves this place.
