I have 4 children at CCS, and have been nothing but impressed by the caring nature of the teachers and the supportive staff. Recently, the school has undergone many changes, including an updated science lab, computer lab, and athletics department. Even though the school is relatively small, the education is top notch, Preschool through Middle School.

I have 2 children attending Cornerstone Christian School and couldn't be happier with the decision we have made to send them to a private school. My oldest child is in third grade and youngest in Kindergarten. Both teachers are loving and caring and are top notch teachers. I have become close to all of the faculty and parents who have children at Cornerstone and feel like it is an extended family.

This school is very big on religion, but unless your child can work independently and learn the material on their own they will not flourish. My child was average and had difficulty understanding some concepts. Unless I wanted to pay extra for tutoring there was no help. They honestly believe that their school is great and do not accept complaints as valid. You will pay alot of money to home school your child if they are to do well. My child will not be attending this school again. I have a new respect for public school teachers and their accountabilty.

Run by Cornerstone Christian Church, the school has both junior high and high school students occupying the same space. This can be both a good thing (as younger students get to experience the same lifestyle and routine as the older kids) and a bad thing (as younger students might feel intimidated or get picked on by older students). The class sizes are very small, with the average graduating class numbering under 25. Religion is a heavy focus at Cornerstone, with mandatory weekly chapel services and a mandatory Bible class. You would expect a private school to have top-notch facilities, but a pathetic baseball field, a sub-par science lab, insufficient computers, and lack of a gym make Cornerstone fall far short in that department.
