I'm a foodie and I've been to my fair share of Chinese/Asian Restaurants. But Golden Buddha (more affectionately known as "GB" to my wife and I) is one of the best that I've ever been to. Everything that I've tried, from their appetizers and soups to their noodles and entrees, has been excellent. They have lunch and dinner combinations at reasonable prices for those who want to sample a wide variety of their cuisine. Above all, their Sweet and Sour Pork is THE best I've ever had. Perfect bite-size bits of pork fried in a light batter. The result is tender, juicy nuggets of pork covered in crispy coatings that are neither too think (which is the case in many restaurants) nor too thin. A sweet and sour dish is only as good as its sauce. In this case, GB'S sauce is sweet with the perfect amount of sour. My wife and I usually ask for the sauce on the side but the fried coating on the meat holds up pretty well when the sauce is drizzled on. Try the dinner combination (about $11) which comes with two egg rolls and generous portions of the Sweet and Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice, and your choice of an entree ranging from Chow Mein to Mongolian Beef. I think I'm going there for lunch today. No, I AM going there for lunch. :-)
