Before I found Le Chauvinist, I did not know that there existed a consignment store strictly for gentlemen. Carrying exclusively menswear, shoes and accessories, Le Chauvinist offers high quality designers at great prices. The most important thing to know about the store, is that you should come in with an open mind. You can never foretell what great items you may find in the store that day. It's no wonder why. Beside carrying casual and dress shirts, shoes, suits, ties, sport coats and authentic Panama hats, they also carrying many niche item goods. They have many rare and hard to find items such as ascots, bow ties, vintage and ( what the owner calls) funky items. A true one of a kind establishment, this store attracts men from all over the world who always find time to take a trip back to Le Chauvinist. In business for almost 9 years, Le Chauvinist has a devote client base and consignement base, and its no wonder why! The store atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed and inviting, the owner is friendly, funny and a joy to talk with, and the merchandise speaks for itself.

Before I found Le Chauvinist Consignment Store for Men, I did not know that there existed a consignment store strictly for gentlemen. This is the only one in San Diego County .
Carrying menswear, shoes and accessories, Le Chauvinist offers high quality designers at great prices. The most important thing to know about the store, is that you should come in with an open mind. You can never foretell what great items you may find in the store that day. It's no wonder why. Beside carrying casual and dress shirts, shoes, boots, western attire, suits, ties, sport coats and authentic Panama hats (hand made in Ecuador), they also carrying many niche items. They have many rare, retro, vintage and hard to find items such as ascots, bow ties, braces and (what the owner calls) one-of-a-kind funky items.
Relationships and rapport being very important, Le Chauvinist receives on consignment many new items from clothing and accessories sales representatives.
A true one of a kind establishment, this store attracts people from all over the world who always find time to take a trip back to Le Chauvinist. Established in 2001, Le Chauvinist has a devoted client and consignment base, and its no wonder why! The store's atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed and inviting, the proprietor, Salvador J. Viesca, is friendly, knowledgeable, funny and a joy to talk with, and the merchandise speaks for itself. As Salvador has said since 1970's, there exists a substantial difference between being in style and having style.

This place is pretty cool for the men. It used to be just a thrift store for me with consignment clothes etc... but now they've got new clothes too... They've got just about everyting a man could want...from clothing and hats to boots and shoes (they have great cowboy boots!) The styles range from vintage to modern and everything in between. They've got great designer brands and the store is not so big that you feel lost... everything is easily accessible. You'll also find accessories that guys would like (some clocks, cigars, flasks, etc...) Right up any man's alley! Folks are friendly and prices are ok... my husband stops in whenever we are in downtown La Jolla
