I have been going to Saysetha since I was 3 years old, and it has been my favorite restaurant ever since. My favorite dishes are the Pad Thai Shrimp and and beef with Eggplant, but really, it's hard to go wrong. There is never a wait and rarely more than four other parties in the restaurant, which makes for a quiet atmosphere and great service. Outstanding restaurant!

Pros: always open tables, great service, delicious food, quiet

Cons: not enough people know about it!

I have been going to Saysetha for over 15 years. It is off the beaten track, never crowded, and worth the trip. It's less expensive than the glut of Thai restaurants in the gourmet ghetto and the food is at least as good, if not better. You can get nearly anything on the (extensive) menu made with a meat substitute (tofu or wheat gluten). The food is as spicy as you like it, freshly made, and great. It feels like a family restaurant.
