The experience with this daycare is mixed. I like the owner who works in the school. She tried hard in running the school. But, some of the teachers are very inexperienced with Children. Very limited verbal communication from teachers to parents. The overall learning experience is very limited. Especially in one of the pre-school classroom.
The tuition fee increases 5+% every year. By talking to other parents, I realized that there are many preschools provide far more learning opportunities with the same price.

Pros: Flexible, responsible, caring environment

I have decided to move my family to Manteca. Although it's was a tough decision to make, I know it will be good for us. My children and I will surely miss you and your wonderful staff at ACG. Thank you for playing such a big positive role in our lives. You truly set a high standard in your profession and I feel very fortunate to have had my children under your teaching. For the past seven years during good and difficult times you've taken genuine interest and have given us so much support, I can't thank you enough. I would highly recommend you to anyone in the area.

We wanted to say a huge thank you for the years of care for our children. ACG has become our second home (especially mine....I always feel welcome to come in and talk to the teachers) and cannot express how grateful we are for ACG. You need to know from a family that you have the most amazing, loving, and capable staff. They truly are the heart of the center. You all have made it a FABULOUS place to trust your children to.

Parents Beware. My wife and I came really close to putting our 2 year old daughter here. Very glad we didn't. Here is my experience:
There were anywhere from 25-30 kids all on one playground. The ages ranged from 2-4+ years old. What I witnessed was complete chaos. Children were throwing the rubber tanbark, kids hitting other kids with toys.
There were 3 teachers on the playground. One sat on the ground in a spot where there was no possible way for her to monitor the children?s activity. A second sat on a blanket on the grass and tuned in the 3 or 4 kids in her immediate vicinity. The third teacher, did interven in the chaos, but was in no way effective.
I called my wife on the phone from the playground and told that I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. What I saw was third rate care givers who seemed uninterested and children who were for the most part, un-supervised.
My daughter was intimidated and overwhelmed by the minions of out of control children. At 2 years old, she is just not equipped to defend herself against the many out of control 4 years olds that she was grouped with. I told the director my concerns and what I had witnessed. She assured me that this was not the norm.
My wife and I talked it over that night and my wife decided to go and talk to Children's Garden staffers the next day. To our surprise, the owner, (male) was extremely rude did not want here my wife's concerns. He told her that it was obvious that we had already made up our minds and that the conversation was over. He all but escorted my wife from the building. My wife told them that she was glad we discovered the way that they (Children's Garden) handle business up front ,before we made the mistake of leaving our most precious treasure(my daughter) there. She informed them that we would never ever be back.
These people sure are friendly when they think they are going to get your $1700.00, but after that they are evil. Beware!

Pros: Looks real nice, they talk a big game

Cons: They just want your money, nothing is as it appears.
