This is one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area. Great food, excellent service, and quick delivery. I've been there many many times since it's near my work. This place is AWESOME. It is my new favorite restaurant. I had the lamb shawarma wrap it is excellent and tasted great.The shawerma in particular is very fresh and flavorful. you can sit there or take out. The place is extremely clean and the employees are friendly.I highly recommend this restaurant.
Just a small little place, but the food here is excellent. All is prepared fresh daily by this family business. They close rather early, 7 or 8 pm on the weekends. It's also a nice place to come for picnic lunch to take elsewhere.

The new owner has spruced up the place, making it much more cheerful to dine in. But face it, you're going for the food. It's all good. Kabobs, hummus, couscous, tabbouleh, gyros, excellent! The kabob plates are great. I'm not a big falafel fan, but their crispy, moist falafel sandwich keeps me coming back for more. Best takeout lunch buy in town: a small tub of hummus (topped with olive oil and cumin) and a sack of pita bread. It's a find!
Great Food - Must try Mousake Plate $8 (vegetarian or my choice - Lamb&Beef combo). Need to go back to try the other stuff, can't wait...
Great Prices (Value) - 95% of menu is under $10.
Service - Super friendly service at both our visits, don't mind the wait because of coureous host.
Location - small but I love love small hiden gems. There are some tables outside (where we sat on a sunny day with our nosy dog) More tables inside, but not too many...
Ambience - It is a very casual family owned place with great authentic cooking.
Recommend - Chicken or Combo Kabobs, Falafel Plate, Gyro, spinach pie, mango & Gauva Juice, thats all I had for now...

Small family run restaurents some times offer better quality food in terms of price and taste and quality. Mediterranean Delite is such a restaurent. I am glad that I walked in to this place by chance.

Pros: delicious , good service , not expensive
Just happened to find this place while on a walk in San Carlos. It definately is a hole in the wall but as the previous poster said, the people are wonderful and the food is terrific. I am not a big fan of mediteranean in general but their hummus is great (the only hummus I'll eat) ... so I'm being won over and it's all their fault.
Delicious Mediterranean staples like falafel, wraps and lots of great salads. Generous portions and very resonably priced and just the most wonderful people taking care of you. It's a small counter place with seating for 20 or so inside a few more outside. I recommend just taking out. You're not going there for the ambience. Adding this place to my regular takeout spots. Don't be fooled by the low-key hole-in-the-wall facade. This place is great.
