Like other Muslim restaurants, Islamic Chinese only serve halaal foods. Lamb is a favorite here and this is hands-down the best Chinese lamb you can find in the city. You just have to try the lamb hot pot. Dip the thinly hand-sliced lamb into the boiling hot soup and watch it get cooked almost instantly. You can then opt to just eat it as is or dip it into the special sauce which is shipped in from Beijing. The special sauce is made with preserved tofu and ground leeks and is the perfect companion to lamb. You can also order plates of spinach, napa cabbage, beef, tripe to complement the lamb.
Not a fan of hot-pot? No problem! Islamic Chinese lamb kebabs and the Chinese-style beef-filled bread is amazing.
PROS: Food is great
CONS: The place is very small
