Hi-Tech Automotive

I have to say Koko and Hi-Tech came highly recommended from family and friends. My experience was abot as bad as it gets.
1. I took my sisters car in for an oil change and general checkup. the price was good though the work was slow. But what's more when we got the car back it was spewing Oil. we took the car back. Koko was apologetic and fixed the problem. cut to 2 months later. The car dies straight up won't run. we take it to another repair place. $2000 dollars worth of problems. Koko either missed these major problems or caused them. either way not good.
2. around the same time I had a truck that was having what I thought were transmission problems. Took it to koko. He said he fixed the problem. A month later the car dies. The transfer casing is blown. Again, Koko's $600 in service either missed the real issue or led to more problems. I decided it wasn't worth the $1200 to get the car running again. I tell Koko I'll arrange a tow and donate the vehicle. While the car is in Hi-Tech/koko's care they leave it on the street and it gets towed. I go to pickup the car and am furious. To avoid my making a scene Koko agrees to pay the $400 to get the car out of the tow-yard so that I can donate it. a week later I get a bill from the city for $200 in parking tickets. Thanks Koko! Koko is cheap, but he is very slow disorganized and think that is why in my experience they did such poor work. I would not recommend to anyone that they take their car to Hi-Tech. It just isn't a good idea.

I was not at all impressed by koko's work. It seems they are too popular for their own good. Not only were my problems not completely repaired but the bill was illegible as to what had been done and Ihad to go back to get things completed. Some sort of fluid was slopped om my paint job causing the paint to fade. My general impression is that if you are not an old customer and a good looking lady then the work done is hurried and sloppy.

Koko takes care of my car, my wife's car, my sister, AND my father's. Not to mention many friends. We are all on the road, and happy with the great service. Sure, the place is packed, but wouldn't you rather take your car to a garage that is popular due to their great work and reasonable prices.

Koko used to be awesome. My husband and I took both our cars there and always got good, honest service. We've recommended so many people to him as a result. However, he's either too busy or doesn't have enough mechanics, but whatever it is, his work is less than satisfactory now. I've had to take my car back in for the same repair because they didn't get to it or didn't do it right the first time. Koko's flakey and it shows in the shotty work they do. It's too bad, but we won't be taking our cars to him anymore.

They're small mom and pop operation. Knowledgeable mechanics. Really concerned that their customers are satisfied with the work. Have always exceeded expectations. Very fair -- I trust them (which is rare for a mechanic).
