I would recommend this sandwich place. They had the best sandwichs here in El Cerrito. I usually get the wheat with roast beef and its really good...Also the convinent thing is that you can also fax orders in! The salads are good too. I've tried the seafood, Pasta, Macaroni and potato. All tasty!!

While I didn't find their deli worth the price they carry a selection of cookies I couldn't find outside of Europe. I was extremely happy to find the chocolate wafers I had been craving for years! If you don't come for the sandwiches come for the cookies.

This cafe was located in El Cerrito Plaza even before the rennovation of the Shopping Center that has occurred over recent years.
They serve sandwiches and other light deli-food. They were serving espresso here before Starbucks was a household word. The place has a bit of a European atmosphere and handles a variety of specialty food items in its "grocery" section, particularly specialty items imported from Europe.

PROS: Local Business, Ethical (Not open on Sunday!), Good Quality
