I've never encountered a more loving or knowledgeable group of teachers. They really take the time to get to know each and every child in the school and take pride in their daily progress - they became family very quickly.
The school provides discounts/refunds on tuition for parent participation, including board participation, facility clean-up (co-op), and classroom aid. Their rates are competitive anyway, but this extra is a tremendous boon to working families.
The facility was the train station in Ben Lomond. The play yard is huge and includes a vegetable and flower garden maintained by the staff, children, and parent volunteers. The school has been operating for over 30 years.
Some of the parents and teachers even attended the school as children themselves. As a non-profit co-op, parents are encouraged to get involved and they do. This creates a great sense of community within the school and transparency for parents concerned about how school policy is decided on and enforced.
Absolutely a positive experience for my family all around.
