I usually buy most of my beauty products from Sephora. They offer a wide varity of all the makeup brands, with the latest colors and fashions. The best part is that I can try all of the colors before I have to buy. Its great. And the customer service is really good. Highly recomended.

My sister told me about this store. I went there for my first time a few weeks ago and loved it. They have a variety of beauty products as well as make-up. The customer service was great, and lthough the prices are slighly high, I think it is worth it. I would highly recommend this store to anyone I know!!

My first experience with a Sephora store was in San Francisco, at the HUGE store on Powell Street. Like others in the chain, the store is wall-to-wall makeup, lotions, body washes, you name it - if it's pretty and smells good, Sephora carries it.

To my knowledge, Sephora carries the most high-end brand name cosmetics and body products of any other U.S. chain. The store is neatly laid out according to product type and brand name, and helpful salespeople are happy to point you to specific products. Makeovers are available at the cosmetics counters, test tubes/bottles are abundant, and free samples are easy to come by. Some of the prices are a bit steep, but most of the products are well worth it. Be warned, however, that you'll want to buy PLENTY.

PROS: HUGE variety; well laid out; testers and samples; friendly staff.
CONS: A bit pricey; temptation!
