I am not sure even where to begin. I am a bit stunned at how awful the food tasted and the quality and freshness at which the food is served at this restaurant. After letting the waiter know about my disinterest in the food the owner came out and yelled, reamed, scolded, and verbally abused me. The owner told me I cant order food and then not eat it! Then he threatened to call the police and kicked me out. Unbelievable! With the amount of amazing Thai restaurants in town I suggest stay very clear of this one unless you like being forced to eat disastrous food.

We live just around the corner from this place and until last night had never eaten here because it always appeared empty. We finally decided to give it a try were pleasantly surprised by how good it was! The shrimp salad (Pla Koon) was perfectly seasoned and very fresh, just like I had in Thailand, and the Masaman curry was sweet and rich, without being too heavy. As another diner noticed, the portions are on the small side, but that too is authentic Thai and it's nice to leave without feeling overly full for once. And the prices are totally reasonable, so you don't feel ripped off either. Service was friendly and super fast, and the restaurant itself is very pleasant. We'll definitely go back to this gem.

Pros: fresh ingredients, well-prepared food, prompt service

Cons: it's often empty and therefore very quiet

I'm not sure what the previous review guy ordered, but I feel this place has good take out. Compared to Thep Phanom or Marnee Thai, I felt the prices here are decent for the average entree & their food is fresh. I go to school nearby and order a few things for dinner delivery with my friends. We like yellow curry chicken, chicken w/sweet basil, & panang salmon. Also, I went there recently with friends & found the service to be good (seafood pad thai is my new fave). Either way, give this place a try for yourself before believing what you hear good or bad.

Pros: fast delivery, good curries :D

Cons: no lunch delivery =(

WOW - after reading these other reviews on this place, I thought i'd give it a try. Granted, I ordered delivery - and I know that that can affect the taste of *some* food - but this was HORRIBLE. Completely tasteless, boring, and uninspired (i guess you would call it-Thai) food. I definitely advise against it - too many great Thai places in this town to waste your time on this.

Pros: On Time delivery, Came with a free Menu

Cons: Tasteless, Bland

A (finicky eater!) friend was visiting me from out of town, and she and I were both floored with the high quality of service and the delicious food. Our waiter treated us as if we were royalty of some sort; he was impeccably courteous and thoughtful!

At first, I was mildly disappointed that my pad thai wasn't the huge heap of food I've become greedily accustomed to at Thai restaurants, but I realized... hey, this is a healthy, reasonably-sized portion (and for $6.95, still a good deal), and I was satified, not bloated after finishing my plate.

My friend ordered a vegetarian soup (I forget which one) and was extremely pleased with it.

I am eager to visit this restaurant again, maybe even just by myself, relaxing with a magazine or maybe just eating, turning off my brain, and just enjoying a slow, meditative meal in a comfortable environment.

You might have driven down Pine Street and crossed Divisadero several times and passed by this purple place on the corner. I know I have. Wonderful food cooked to your liking (if you want it hot or not, just say so!) Perfect for dinner for 2, 4 or 10. Fast service is available even when you are running to an engagement. They are out to please and wine and dine you. A must try for even first-timers to thai food! YUM! You gotta try the duck salad and their curries!

This place is the epitome of a friendly, delicious neighborhood restaurant that serves some fantastic, well-priced food. Housed in a non-pretentious building at the corner of Pine and Divisadero, the wait staff couldn't be nicer.

Pros: Tasty, Fresh, Friendly

One of the BEST family-runned Thai restaurants in the BAY!!! Must tries include Seafood Pad Thai, Panang Scallops, and Musamam Lamb. Friendly owners, great service, and they offer free delivery around the area! I ordered many times on a foggy, rainy SF nite. =)
