Albany Bowl

This is one of the few family-owned bowling alleys out there that still exist. they do get crowded sometimes, so its usually a good idea to go early if you want to be able to bowl. the food isnt that good here, but i think its more of a bowling alley anyways. people who work here are usually very friendly and helpful.

I sometimes go to Albany Bowl for bowling. They have plenty of parking and also have billiards tables if you like to play that too. They also charge $1 a game on Thursdays and Fridays which is a really cheap way to have some fun. The staff are also really friendly and helpful.

Albany Bowl is not as good a bowling alley as it COULD be. It is a little far from the main drag of Berkeley and that can make transit tricky. They keep up their lanes well, and the food is okay...sometimes kind of trashy people show up and then the place is less cool. Bring extra socks.

this is a very good place for cheap games. they also have pool, arcade games, a bar, a snackbar and a bowling shop in the back. sometimes the wait can be annoying because so many people come here. my friends and i come here a lot because it's close and cheap but other than that, the lanes seem to be shorter and therefore unofficial than lanes at other places.

I've played here a couple times with my coworkers who live in Albany. They were pretty busy on the weekends we went here but we never had to wait. The staff at the desk were kind. They have parking in front so you don't have to park on the street. The prices to rent a lane are reasonable. I had a great time here with my friends and will plan on coming back again in the future.
