DO NOT RENT OR HAVE THIS COMPANY REPRESENT YOU. Taking my advice will save you alot of stress,time and money. I am a renter and from the moment i submittted the application i have had problems.
Shannon procrastinated along with the property owner, they made me wait almost three weeks for a response( that i had to call for ) and waited until three days before the move in date it inform me i was approved and had 24 hours to submit the deposit.
Shannon and Lisa were rude,and made me seem like i was bugging them when calling to check on the status of my app. The told me it should only take two days,not three weeks.
Georgia needs to retire because her flame for the public has burned out. I came to her with a list of concerns with the home im renting,she treated me like i was stupid and laughed at me. She even insulted me saying that i should of attempted fixing certain things before i listed them broken. Im a renter not an owner,anything broken should be the responsibilty of the management and owner.
This company allowed my family to move into a home that wasnt even repaired or ready. Walls dirty,full of holes and nails,nothing painted or cleaned,dirty appliances,nonworking appliances,broken toilet, exposed wires and uninstalled lights. I was told they would all be fixed prior to me moving in. once i moved in Cornette blamed it all on the owner and the owner blamed it all on cornette.
Cornette even gave me the wrong key to my home,so move in day turned into hell.

I moved in over 2 years ago and recently purchased a home with my husband, but I had to say how happy we were to have rented from this company.
We moved into a duplex in Roseville and have it has been the best rental experience I have had since leaving home almost 10 years ago. The staff has been wonderful to work with and I would certainly recommend them to other tenants looking for a place to call HOME.
Judy and Gloria, the employees in charge of tenant issues, are horrible to work with. The are NEVER available and extremely unresponsive. Lisa is downright rude and disrespectful. Shannon is extremely unfair. Roger is pretty much a salesman, will tell you what you want to hear, but will not follow through on any of his promises. All he is interested in is getting the properties rented so he can get paid. This is a family run business, but as far as I'm concerned, they give family run businesses a bad name. If you are looking for a rental property, stay far away from any homes that they are managing. You will have a horrible experience.
We have never rated a company until now, but we we asked to share our opinion. We hired Cornette Management just over 5 years ago to rent our property in East Sacramento after a job transfer, and since that time we have been extremely pleased. Our tenants are a great family and we really hope they stay for another 5 years, couldn't ask for anyone better. If there are other owners wondering about a good company to manage your rental Cornette would be at least one that I would call.
Cornette has managed 2 duplexes for me since 2006 and they have done a wonderful job. I first met with Roger who came out and took a look at one of the units that was vacant and his knowledge and professionalism was the reason for me choosing their company. Since then I have dealt with just about all the employees including Tammi who is fairly new and she is just great.
I know 2 of the tenants in my duplexes pretty well and they both have good things to say about how things are being taken care of so I would definately recommend them to both owners and tenants.
Horribly managed company. Repairs will never get done. No one will take accountability. Gloria F doesn't know the definition of customer service. The company has a distinct lack of human emotion. I will get repeated calls about a child's toy on the patio, but no call for repair of a broken drawer with nails hanging from it in a house with small children. Ridiculously incompetent company completely void of the general component's required to keep a tenant happy. I will NEVER do business with this company again.??
I have used Cornette Property Management to manage my east sacramento house for over a year. While I have had generally positive experiences working with employee Shannon J., I have had very poor experiences trying to work and communicate with Gloria F. and Judy Cornette. My most recent failed interaction with the company prompts this review. The unresolved issue: although Cornette Property Management has, over the past year, utilized my home warranty on three separate occasions for the purpose of obtaining repairs, on the most recent occasion that repairs were required, employee Gloria F. failed to contact my home warranty company, and has instead billed me for the now much greater repair costs. Although it was clear from my first conversation with Gloria that she was aware that she had made a mistake (she practically hung up on me when I asked her if she had contacted my home warranty the first time), the company has since refused to take my calls or answer my emails to discuss the situation. I have now emailed and called the company on thirteen separate occasions over the past two months in an attempt to reach Judy Cornette to discuss the situation. I have never received a call back from Judy or Roger Cornette, who nonetheless automatically deducted the money they wanted from my rent check. I can only imagine that if this is the way I am treated as a home owner, how poorly communication with renters must be conducted. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and now fear I will have to take them to court. I would not recommend this company.
It has been over 3 years since I bought my first rental property and at first I thought I would find a tenant and manage the property myself, but after hearing some horror stories from friends with rentals I decided to hire a management company. I made contact with 3 or 4 companies but decided on hiring Cornette and I have been completely satisfied with the experience. My second tenant just moved into the property and If they are as good a tenant as the first couple then I am sure I will continue to have good things to say about this company.

Although we did not rent from Coronette, we had a pleasant experience. Someone always answers the phone. It may take a few days for someone to get back to us, they always did. Shannon tried to help us find new listings. We did not find a home with Coronette, we found a house with a private owner.
I spoke with Judy personally about the refund of our application fee. She said she would mail it. Low and behold, two days later, the check was in our mail box. Way to go! I would use them again and recommend them to our friends.

I rented a home from this company in June of 09' and from the start the service was lacking. The woman at the front desk is rude and has no idea of whats going on. That wouldn't be so bad it they had someone else that could answer your questions. Judy the owner will never return your calls and she ALWAYS seems to be in a meeting when you call the office. I just bought my first home and plan on buying many more, for the purpose of renting. This company will NEVER get my any of my bisuness.
I am in the customer service bisuness myself and if I treated my clients this way I would be out of work in a hurry. So my hope is that this company doesn't treat all of there customers like this . I hope that because of some reason or another they chose me to treat like $#!T!!!!!!!

I want to thank Roger and his staff for their work in getting my property rented. I had a property listed by a real estate agent who said he also did property management but it was for rent for almost 3 full months and so I contacted Roger who was referred to me by a coworker, to see if he could help me rent the property. I cancelled the other contract and signed with them and my property was rented in just over 2 weeks at the same price I was asking for before. Hopefully we have tenants who will stay in my property for awhile but I just want to say how appreciative I am to have them help me rent my house

I just want to Thank all of you for the 4 years we have rented from you and although we are sad to leave we are looking forward to owning our first home!! If anyone is looking to rent from a company that will respond to the needs of the tennants I definalty recommend this company. My husband and I have been in this property for over 4 years and in all that time I can't say I have one complaint. We only had one maintenance issue that didn't get taken care of quickly and it was because some part for the heater had to be ordered special but we were given almost $100 off the next month's rent I think for having to deal with the problem. Except for that one issue I dont think we ever had any problems and I just want to thank Shannon for all her help during this whole time, I know she is hoping to get her license soon and wish her all the best. - Ronald & Kim Phillip
