I went here for brunch and had a great time. The restuarant is small but chic. They served coffee in a french press which they left on the table so we always had a full cup. I got the Huevos Chorizo which is served with black beans and tortillas and the portion was very generous.

I've also been here a few times for lunch and the butternut squash soup is a must if it's on the menu (unfortunately it's not always on the menu)

The outside seating area is great because Green Street isn't that busy so there isn't much foot traffic walking by your table and parking can be found after one or two trips around the block.

It sits on the nice tree lined Green Street in Pasadena; it's cute and cozy inside and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The friend I went with is a regular and loves this place. My huevos Rancherous was excellent and judging from the crowd at the place it is a local favorite.

This was a random find on a Friday night, and we left very pleasantly surprised. We were seated immediately, and the service was very friendly. The lamb and seafood pasta entrees were delicious, as was the decadent chocolate mousse and coffee for dessert. Because it was our first visit, we were not aware that they do not serve wine, but we were informed that you may feel free to bring your own bottle, and there is no cork fee! I can't wait to try their breakfast or lunch.

this place has terrific food. they have pretty big portions but it is pricey for just breakfast. the waiters and ambiance make up for it. the restaurant itself is very very small but it has a sidewalk patio area that faces green street. on Sunday mornings there is very little traffic and this is a nice area to enjoy food with friends. they bring the coffee out on a saucer like its tea. it is totally cute-- and tasty. i would go here again; just make sure it isn't busy because it is a very small place

This restaurant is tucked in between businesses on Green street. The waiting staff is extremely friendly and the food is amazing. The prices are a little high and the protions small, but very good food. I like the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant, but very small. Also I don't think they have restrooms not a plus. They have outdoor seating under the trees or indoor seating.

This place is beyond disappointing. My boyfriend and I
tried their Sunday brunch and walked away absolutely astonished that we managed to spend $35
on brunch and still be hungry. Neither of us are the type to demand big portions when dining out, but we do expect to feel satisfied for $35.

I ordered the grilled vegetable and gruyere omelete, which was flavorless and came only with pico de gallo. When I asked if my omelette included toast, I was told yes -- and then charged 75 cents for ONE, unbuttered slice.
My boyfriend ordered the crab cakes, which were absolutely miniscule and served with two fried eggs and that ominous pico de gallo.

The wait staff spend most of their time chatting behind the counter and ignoring customers. Diners were walking up to the counter to get them to do anything.

The dining room at cafe Verde holds but a handful of linen-covered tables, with a few additional ones out on the sidewalk. With its saffron walls with artsy black-and-white photography, it looks like a tiny small town diner that has been…
