Super knowledgeable staff. They have such an awesome collection and can tell you a history of pretty much every coin in there. I had a good time just looking and learning. Thanks for a great experience.

I wanted to get a coin I have been looking to buy for the last few years. I was unable to find it in person and then I was in San Jose Coin and there it was! It was less than online too! I bought it and am so happy with it! It is flawless!!!

This store has an amazing american jeweler he is the best of the best.....i was very impressed with the service. i also had my rolex serviced in 6 day and was charged only 225.00 vs. Ben Bridge who wanted 6 weeks and 600.00 i love this sore!

I came to the store in search for Asian coins. The man refused to help simply because I had not called ahead of time for specific coins. He was very rude.
Would not recommend.

Very respectable and always fair with prices. ! I have yet to come across any other shop more trustworthy than San Jose Coin Shop! I highly recommend friends & family to come here. All in all, I am very much looking forward to doing business with them in the near future.

Outstanding service and selection. My only complaint is that some of the pieces are over priced and the gold trade in value could be a little higher. Other than that it was a great experience browsing here and I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I agree with the rest of the reviews this is an awesome shop. The staff is always cordial and helpful. They have great purchase and trade-in value and they're conveniently located near me. I've been coming here for months and I am totally pleased with this place

Excellence! San Jose Coin Shop owner Donald Lynch is an extraordinary shop owner. Donald has owned the shop for more than 30 years. He has a huge inventory and I always find something new and interesting in his shop. He will answer any questions you may have and offers fair appraisals on anything you bring into the shop. I have sold a lot of scrap gold and coins and have always felt the transaction was honest and very fair. Don't waste your time with any other coin shop in the area, this is the one!

This is my go to coin shop! The staff there always treats me like family and are always happy to take my business. They have a wide variety of gold and silver pieces which keeps me coming back at least once a month. I'm a coin collector and I highly recommend this shop!

Visited the shop yesterday to sell a few gold coins for my mother. This shop was clean and the staff was very helpful and honest. I called around and this shop had the best buy prices for what I was selling. I cant wait to buy or sell to this shop again!

Other than addressing me as ""sir"", this guy is sorely lacking people skills. I've visited twice, and the second time I asked to look through Canadian pennies, which this guy handed to me 6 at a time, leaving me standing in insufficient light to inspect the coins. He never offered me a chair (which he kept all behind the counters), and after I looked through a dozen or so coins, I got the distinct impression that he wanted me out of his store. Despite the fact he had many more coins that he could've sold to me (!). Although I was well-dressed and very polite to him, I could not shake the impression the guy wanted to be left alone. I bought a few things, but the experience is one I do not care to repeat.

I entered this coin shop on a Saturday morning and was rudely greeted by the employee/shop owner. Also, I asked to see several coins prior to purchasing and the employee was irritated and aggitated about having to fulfill my requests. I would not recommend this store.
