It's a wonderful way to get to know the children and the parents in our community. We have a child who is on the shy side -- she doesn't need academic rigor but she loves the play-based opportunities to get to know her peers, her teacher and the other parents. For us, the opportunities for adult education are wonderful. They are a fairly small school and the curriculum and general attitude of the school is &quot;relaxed&quot;. They are based on a play to learn philosophy so you will find little &quot;pre-k&quot; academics here but lots of great socialization and readying of other skills for kindergarten. This is a highly involved preschool that puts on a Halloween carnival each year for the community and a rummage sale. The tuition is very reasonable, but you will have to participate in fund-raising events and put in some volunteer hours.
