5 Stars: Very classy, delicious food (by Natalie B.)

Chapeau is the cutest little french restaurant in the city. The owner is very friendly and greets all of his guests, the regulars by name. The food is AMAZING and the prices reasonable for the gourmet fare you get.

5 Stars: Wonderful dinning experience (by David C.)

A friend of ours who lives in San Francisco recommended this place. We had a really good time there. Our meal took about 3 hours (the owner assured us that it usually takes only abou 2 - 2 1/2 hours). But it was a good 3 hours. The food is supreb. The owner (also the chef) makes it a point to greet every guest personally. When we left, he came running out of the restaurant to say good bye to us.

If you want to go, make sure you call ahead and make a reservation.

5 Stars: Great food and great dining experience (by Heather C.)

My husband and I went here once on a 'getaway-weekend'. We arrived slightly early (which we were afraid was in poor taste) so we waited outside. The proprieter came outside and asked about our status and brought us in early. It is a tiny restaurant, but it was packed with people. Each of the 3 courses was incredible and when we were finished we were surprised that we had spent over 3 hours eating there. After we exited the restaurant, the proprieter chases us down to say goodnight. He was very friendly and the food was great. It was expensive, but worth it for a special occasion!
