.

After many years of not attending church at all, certain events in my life sparked a desire to re-establish my relationship with God. I grew up Catholic, but had become disillusioned with the views of the church. I decided to try St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, which is not far from my home.

The first time I attended a service, there was a very nice lady at the door who welcomed me and asked if it was my first time. Some of the service was familiar to me, having grown up Catholic, but I needed help navigating my way through the Book of Common Prayer and the hymnal. My neighbors in the pew helped me since I was obviously clueless, and I appreciated their kindness. One thing that impressed me was the music. They choir was sang beautifully, and they have a really gifted organist who also plays Bach fugues and other classical music on the enormous pipe organ, after the service.

I joined this church soon after my visit, and feel very blessed for having found it.
