Love this restaurant - every small plate I have had here is to die for...the atmosphere is quaint and cute and the service has always been excellent. The wine choices and pour choices are superb!

The vibe is relaxed and sophisticated, the small-plate menu is eclectic (in a good way) and tasty, and the extensive wine list is available by the half-bottle, glass, and 2 ounce taste.

This is a great place for a "date" or a group of adults to eat out- this is not a family place if the wine bar part of the name didn't clue you in. They have an excellent selection of wine which you can purchase in 3 size of pours (2, 4 or 6 oz) for most of their choices. I love this as I'm not a huge wine drinker, but love to "taste" them so the 2 oz. pours are perfect for me and don't break the bank. It also allows wine "connoisseurs" to try a lot of different wines without becoming too inebriated. But this place isn't about wine alone- they also have great food- and really good dessert. Their menu is based on the "small plates" concept so usually the table will order together and share a few different items which also makes it a more interactive eating event (esp. if something is really good you'll all be fighting over the scraps). Their menu changes somewhat seasonally, but here are a few favorites: beet salad, fries (not your McDonald's variety), calamari, churros and chocolate. We haven't order much of anything that was bad- even if one of us didn't prefer it someone else at the table usually loved it. Service has been decent and attentive every time and ambiance is nice- although the tables can feel a little crowded when it's busy.

PROS: great special night place- good food and wine
CONS: a little pricey so be prepared for the bill- it all adds up quickly

It may be hard to see the sign for this spot, but the crowd brimming from the entrance is a dead giveaway. They flock here for tasty, far-flung small plates---to share, or not. Under "locally grown," choose Liberty Farm duck with smoked…
