Da Wei & Lily Tattoo Inc

This place seemed great for my first tattoo I got a few years ago. I walked in without an appointment for a consultation with Da Wei to discuss the size and price of my piece, and left with an appointment for my tattoo to be done by Lily. It was a clean place, a hygienic process, and Lily was very friendly and helpful. I was happy with my tattoo when I left, but when I went back for a touch up for the ink I had lost when I had an allergic reaction to the aftercare creme I was told to use, I was disappointed and have been ever since. The ink colours don't match, even though Lily told me that after a while the colours would blend together (which they never did) so now I have a two-tone black tattoo. What has made me the most upset is that my design was original and one of a kind (I designed it myself) and a year later, I see someone else with my same exact tattoo. In the future, I will go to a place that respects that I choose my tattoo artwork to be significant, meaningful, and personal. My tattoo designs are a reflection of something important in my life, not to be shared with others.

I recently got a tattoo by Dawei. The outcome is beyond my expectation. I'll never go elsewhere from now on.

I've never has any tattoo before. I was anxious, I was nervous. I asked around. A lot of people referred me to Dawei & Lily Tattoo on El Camino. So I went, to meet them. Lily, she is the sweetest lady I've ever encountered. She was patient. She showed me the designs. She gave me ideas. The price is so resonable for the time she had spent on me. Tattoos are forever, I recommend you to go to see Lily at Dawei's Tattoo. You will be thrilled.

Maybe my experience with them is different from others, of course, it all depends. But for a good service oriented business, don't you think they ought to always be consistent with their attitudes? I didn't even make it inside. I called to inquire and one of the ladies was hurried, wouldn't give me any kind of idea of their prices. I had to basically force it out of her. Finally she said she was in the middle of something and had to go.
She just lost about $200 with me because I am not ever going there. First Impressions do make a difference.

My friends and I went here to get piercings and my friend to get a tattoo. The needles and jewelry were all in unopened packages, so that was nice. The artists didn't intimidate us like other stores that I have been to. It was a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and the work was high quality. Also the prices are not bad.
