My family recently visited this restaurant at Fisherman's Wharf. It's a pretty small restaurant with a family feel. We had a large party and I think that's what upset our waitress, because she was quite rude the entire time. We all ordered our food and got it relatively quickly. Everything was delicious, I totally recommend the clam chowder (white), no complaints here with the food. But the manager and our waitress were both rude and pushy. We had to ask numerous times for basic necessities like straws and napkins (everybody has to do that any restaurant, I know) but when we received our napkins they were thrown on the table without so much as a "I'm sorry, I forgot those". Overall, would I go back? Yes, to get a to-go order.

Pros: Just great food and good value

Nonna Rose is by Pier 39 in SF. It's right over the water so we could see all the Yachts on the water that were covered in christmas lights! The portions were very good and the prices definitely aren't bad. Pretty good clam chowder, too.

As a first time SF visitor roaming around Fishermans Wharf I could choose between the outside stands serving fresh lobster and crab or one of the restaurants lining the wharf. I choose this place and, boy, was that a mistake (as I later

We went to Nonna Rose with some of our friends for dinner during a recent visit to SF -- we wanted good seafood in a non-touristy location, and I think we found it. The sourdough bread was really good, as was the clam chowder (I don't

This is a good restaurant for lunch on the wharf. I had the portobella sandwich, and my guest had the cedar-smoked salmon. Both were very good.
The only negatives I found were: the french fries were no good and the table setup didn't
