Come and see for yourself why Le Petite Retreat Day Spa is setting new standards for spa excellence in Southern California.
This former private home on Larchmont has been converted into a tranquil French-Asian island day spa. A comfy fireplace and a large stone fountain flank two plush sofas. The large, immaculate bathroom features a shower and lockers. Treatments include the popular warm Zen stone deep-tissue massage combo; the signature Aquasonic microdermabraison facial; and the Aqua Latte and Flower Bath Medley, which offers a soak in a copper bathtub surrounded by candles, and accented by essential oils.
I had a remarkable hour and a half of the spa's signature massage (Jade Stone) with Frank who is an extraordinary therapist. I was blown away! It was both relaxing and therapeutic--the relief to my sore muscles was both immediate and long lasting. I have had countless treatments worldwide--but, Frank's amalgam of techniques to include 'myofacial' was top-notch and nonpareil. This place is "Quality" all the way--with individual attention and customized treatments. And don't forget to follow your massage with an aromatic bath that will make you think you've died and gone to heaven. The only negative--it could be addictive!

I've been to several spas in Los Angeles and they are usually full of snoots. Le Petite Retreat is definetly by far the best service all the way around. The Jade Stone massage was excellent and the RegenisCell Facial was amazing. All the staff from the receptionist to the therapist were very professional and engaging. I would highly recommend this place. I even saw a A list celeb there (but I won't say who, because I know they appreciate their privacy) enjoying a little R & R. Definetly, a place to chill out.

Do Not Buy Gift Certificates from Le Petite Retreat1
I have tried to use my gift certificate on numerous occasions and they are always busy. I can't comment on how good the treatments are because I can't ever get in. The last time I called to schedule an appointment, I asked if I could split my gift certificate with my husband so that we could each get a treatment and was rudely answered, "No." If you're going to buy a gift certificate for someone from this spa, beware. If they have a very flexible schedule and like to plan way ahead then it could be great, but if they're like most people and don't plan weeks in advance, they will have a problem.

I was very unhappy with the customer service I received a weeks ago - it turned out that it was not the owner who I have spoken to - It was a temp they've hired to cover the spa while the owners were away. Lysa, the owner called me back today and sincerely apologized for the treatment I received. She was willing to give me an upgrade of treatment to the gift certificate I had tried to cancel. I appreciated her call and it made me feel better about the whole experience. Now I will actually get a chance to experience the service they provide and really looking forward to that.
**this is an updated review since my previous experience with the spa. I wanted to change the rating from unsatisfactory to satisfactory but was unable to**

I had a tough work day and needed to relieve the stress a bit. I hadn't been to a spa in years, and decided why not spoil myself for once? Boy did I make the right decision! This is by far the nicest day spa I've ever visited. The interior reminds you of a hidden nook you've only seen in movies. And the facials are to die for! A deep tissue massage I selected was EXACTLY what the doctor ordered and all was topped off with a deluxe steam bath which practically opens the gates of heaven. Highly recommended-especially if you need to wash away the stress of your day.
PROS: ALL-AROUND PROFESSIONALISM, SERVICE & PRODUCT. A+

I went here when I couldnt get to my normal day spa , I would just say that they are ok, but I have purchased several gift certificates for friends, family members, and co- workers, tey all love it, maybe im just used to my normal spa, and the prices are a little but high not to high though, I would reccomend it, its worth a try and its not a waste of money, its just a little out of the way for me, they also have a website that you can purchase grea products for home.

Way better than expected
By Heaven812
I went in for a facial and a bath here. The manager of the store and Brook, the person who did my facial was very nice. They really went out of their way to make my experience there as enjoyable as can be. I went to other spas before but this is the best spa I've ever went to. I thought it was only a face massage but when the mask was on my face, Brook massaged my head, neck, shoulders, arms, and legs. It was wonderful! I'm definitely bringing my mom here. I highly recommend everyone to go to this Spa.
Pros: Great Staff, Loved the atmosphere

Soo needed this before the holiday madness starts!
By rednet
I had the best massage on Saturday. It was outside in the cabana, slightly chilly day but the cabana was all warm and toasty. I swear time stood still. I had that "where am I?" feeling when the massage was over. The "Quiet Room" had a lovely fire in the fireplace. I relaxed for a while after the massage with some magazines, hot tea, and a warm neckroll. I would have stayed forever, but then I remembered that I didn't live there. haha!
My favorite spa in LA! I will definitely be coming back and next time I'll bring my husband for a couples massage and a champagne bath in their beautiful copper tub.
Pros: Cozy, Professional staff, warm environment, unique Cons: Small cups for the tea.

Best Lashes in Los Angeles!
By Jeni3507
I got the best Eyelash application that I've ever gotten. I've tried so many places and none of them last like these do!! Le Petite does the best job. Very precise and they lasted almost 8 weeks. I waited almost 2 months to write this review to make sure. I also tried the waxing and it was very very clean. Fast and very complete. I really enjoyed my treatments and I know you will too!
Pros: Excellent Staff

GREAT MASSAGE & FACIAL - EXPERIENCE SUPER ALL THE WAY AROUND
By Fishingboy1970
I was there yesterday and my gal pal and I have a terrific experience. I have to say I was intrigued by the hokie negative reviews I read. I know that most people don't give creadence to negative reviews because usually it's the people writing them who are negative. Anyway, I laughed when I read them and seeing this place on TV recently (which has much more credibility than a few vindictive customers!) I decided to give it a whirl. WOW is all I can say. The place was charming and the staff excellent. This place was sooo busy even in this economy. THAT's gotta tell you something!
