This is hands down one of our favorite places in Point Loma. Just minutes from Shelter Island my wife and I love the stop off to a reasonably priced meal. The bread is amazing and I think I've eaten almost all of their pasta entrees and love every one of them.

Great new place in La Paya/Pt. Loma! Come and enjoy an evening of great food and wine and a very attentive staff. The Beet Salad is wonderful and the Ossobucco to die for. One of the best in San Diego.

On a whim and after working in our office in the neighborhood, we stopped in and enjoyed the best meal we have had out in a long time, and we eat out a lot. The ambiance is delightful with mellow colors of yellow and red throughout. We had the homemade Salmon ravioli - delicious - and the Risotto - mmmmm - yummy and not too rich. Nice sized portions. We shared a beet salad to start and the flavors of the goat cheese, beets and dressing really complimented each other. Again, plenty of food, nice wine list and wonderful attentive staff who will share their cultural heritage with you (Italian!!). Lovely and well worth the time in a location infused with Italian restaurants (four in a two block radius!). Welcome to the neighborhood!!

It sounds like just another Italian restaurant, but Luna Notte actually has a pleasant mix of dishes from the Mediterranean, influenced by the cuisines of France and Spain.
Their breakfast menu is fabulous. I love their omlets.
Its a little off the beaten path.. but not too hard to find.
