Gosh, I've had a totally different experience at Denio's than Daniel. While I've only had my "garage sales" there, everyone was very helpful. That, coupled with the fact that I have seen many of the same vendors at this market for years and years, I suspect there is more to Daniel's story than what we have been told. Anyway, I love shopping there. Great fluffy blankets for these cold nights - a wide selection of amazing produce at great prices (lots of those hard to find ethnic food items along with the standards, too) - and a possible treasure around every corner. Wear your walking shoes; the place is big.

Bad management and poor treatment of customers and vendors with an "if you don't like it go screw yourself" mentality is fast turning this place into a ghost town. Fortunately the auction across the street from them called the Joseph's Auction Town is a much more pleasant experience and after being burned by Denios I conduct my business there from now on - Denios just isn't fun anymore.

Go early to beat the crowds (and the heat). Don't miss the freshly squeezed lemonade, tacos and burritos. Great music is live and free. Produce was of good quality, and the prices made the trip worthwhile. Lots of other interesting stuff. A fun way to spend the day. The only drawback was the cost to park.

Even if it was cold I found some great deals. I love love flea markets, you never know what your going to find.
Their are alot of booths selling the same stuff. But if you head to the open air area where the bargains are you see some interesting stuff.
If you go in the summer time try and go earlier in the morning because it will get hot for sure.
I like to walk around and people watch and barter. Their are alot but, most of the times I stay away from the food stands.
Be sure to check out the farmers market side. The veggies and fruits are cheap,

I just returned from Denios and happened to arrive there without cash for parking. I asked politely even offering for the booth clerk to hold my ID so I could go not more than 15 ft in her clear view to access a bank machine. I was prevented from doing so until a security person could arrive to hold my ID while I was 15 feet inside the gate.
I waited waited. Finally asking the booth clerk if he was coming. Her reply was a shrug and "I don't know". Meanwhile she held the same walkie-talkie but refused to use it to obtain an update.

The situation escalated to a complete stranger paying the $1 so I could walk 15 feet in clear view to withdraw the $100 I planned on spending there and so I could then pay for parking and return with the FREE ENTRY you receive with your parking ticket.

I guess rules are rules but this one seemed beyond lacking in any interest in customer service.

Along with this rather strict rule I had to deal with a booth operator who was obviously a former meth addict twitching and finally it came to and exchange of words ending with her suggesting I have "A fxxcked up day".

This upset made the entire visit tainted with ugliness and I will probably never return there again.

I went on a dismal day with light rain. It was a bit chilly outside and there probably wasn't as many vendors as there would be on a nice warm sunny day.

It was fun walking around seeing all the different things, especially the garage sale areas however I thought the stuff was mostly junk. It was especially fun seeing old fashioned things from the past. I'd be careful & hesistant about buying new things as I'm not sure if they actually "work" or if its good quality (clothes etc)

I bought bananas from a fruit stand. The guy weighed them, gave me a price then ripped off one banana as he put the bunch into the bag. I was like, isn't that cheating? I had to demand to see the banana & he gave it back to me. What a thief!

I haven't gone back since although I have been wanting to go when its a nice warm sunny day.

Beware of those scammers tho.

PROS: Outdoorsy
CONS: Watch out for theives & scammers

If you're looking for a huge selection of fresh product and local products, this isn't exactly the place. If you're looking for a great deal on speaker boxes or cell phone parts or any other number of things this is the place for you. Go early because it does get very crowded!

PROS: You can find nearly anything

Denio's has become less of a farmer's market and auction over the years and more of a swap meet and garage sale. True, they still have fresh fruits and vegetables (which can be had at great prices), but the most abundant merchandise at Denio's is "stuff" and "things." Everything from shoes, clothing, rugs, paintings, furniture, household items, building materials, tools, jewelry, stickers, toys and more. The prices are very reasonable, and many of the vendors will haggle over prices with you. The entrance is free on Fridays, but there are also only about half as many vendors. The parking is ample and they are open rain or shine.

Me and my family LOVE going here. Its a nice place to walk around in the sun and shop! They have 2 sections one is garage sale stuff where people can rent a booth to sell their stuff, and then there are people selling new things. They have everything out there from animals and cages, to video games movies even clothes and bikes. They also have the best corn dogs and food and drinks. The parking lot is HUGE so very nice and the deals you can get out there are GREAT.

This place is massive. It boasts eveything from fresh fruits and veggies, to clothing, furniture, home furnishings and everything you'd find at a yard sale. The entry fee is 2$ per car, which is a small price to pay for the great deals you'll find inside. This is a perfect saturday-afternoon activity. Great deals are around every corner, and the only thing you need to worry about is having enough space to take it all home.
