went couple of times for happy hours... love the mango majito ... The corn fritters were delicious and the calamery.... hmmm yummy. I would never say no to E & O :)

Interesting combination of Asian, Thai, and Indian flavors. Try the "Big Plates:" Firecracker Chicken, Grilled Salmon, and the steak (dinner only). The Small Plates are OK: Indonesian Corn Fritters didn't work for me, but steamed chicken dumplings were good. Good place for a large group or for drinks/dinner.

We usually drop by E&O on Fridays or Saturdays. The ambiance is great, good service, but the best part is the food...love the firecracker chicken...n' also the small plates, specially the fried shrimps...its yummy!

We went here for a friends birthday dinner. We did not get our order taken for over 20 mins. We had to ask where are waiter was. The food was ok but very expensive for the portion size. Bottom line if you don't mind poor service and high price its the place to go!

We went to dinner at E&O trading company on Feb. 17, 2008 as a party of seven. The restaurant was mostly empty, and we were sat at a table next to the window very quickly. It took a good 20 minutes until the waitress came over to take our drink orders, and then another 30 until she came to take our food orders. Through out the night, we had to either find water pitchers to fill the glasses ourselves, or obtain new silverware from the bar to replace the ones that were taken from us by the bus boys. Our wait staff were nowhere to be found most of the night. At the end of the night, after waiting a good 30 minutes for the waitress to come and take our credit cards, we finally had to go and find the manager to pay our bill. An 18% gratuity is included on top of the bill & tax for parties larger than 6. The manager did not show even after we complained to the hostess about the poor service.

The food was pretty good, definitely not as good as it used to be 2 years ago, or as good as the price calls for. The service was so poor that we would never go back to E&O. We recommend that you do not go with a large group either.

I went there this past week. (+'s) the scenery is nice... the food is tasty (-) but the portions are small.

Food tased good, very small portions. and very expensive for what you got. Had to ask for rice received a very small indvidual bowl for 4 of us. Definately not worth the price.

I go to E&O on Fridays usually a couple times a month just to hang out with friends without having to deal with the chaos of the usual downtown crowd. I always have a good time, get a good seat at the bar, and get great customer service. Everyone is friendly here, from the greeter at the door to the wait staff to the bartenders. They go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of, which I know is rare even in nicer restaurants. This Friday I went during Happy Hour and had the pleasure of experiencing Adam's incredible bartending. Not only is he great at mixing drinks, he is one of the most attentive servers I've ever had, providing me with refills before I even had to ask and pretty much anticipating any need I might have. I brought a couple first-time visitors with me and they were all impressed by the great service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a good meal in a comfortable setting with high quality service.

I recommend: Lettuce cups are the only ones I'll eat anywhere, and the shrimp soup is DELICIOUS if you're lucky enough to go during a week they're serving it (I get it without cilantro!)

I try to go at least once every two weeks. I always sit at the bar and everyone is great. The food is excellent. I recommend the lettuce cups, crispy shrimp, panir naan, ribs, chicken sate, steak sate I can go on and on. Not only is the food good but the drinks are to die for. Adam the bartender is a master at drinks. He can take any drink and make it delicious. I highly recommend going here and they have a great happy hour. From 4-7 Monday thru Friday they have food items that are only 3 DOLLARS! And some drinks for only 5 dollars. You will not be disappointed.

Service staff were friendly and courteous. It has a bar area to wait in until you get your table. Dining area is spaceous and a good environment for large groups. Variety of tasty and creative dishes. Great place to order a lot of appetizers and drinks. Good wine list.

The food tasted great, service awesome. However, after 1/2 hour of leaving the restaurant, I had numbness in my head, neck and shoulders. This feeling I have had before eating at restaurants that use MSG in Its cooking.
If you have any sensitivity to MSG, you may want to choose a different place to eat.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary on a Tuesday. There was a small crowd but that was what we were looking for. The food was decidedly different than the San Francisco location--had more spices which we both liked. Our waitress was attentive and very nice. They made our anniversary very special!!

Everytime I go back here, I always order the same thing- the corn fritters and the noodles. The food has a very nice asian fusion touch, and the service is great! Waiters and bus boys quickly refill your glass of water, or change your plate to a clean one. The atmosphere is nice, and is very nice for two or for ten. The drink selection is very good. You should order the mai tai.

It's a real nice place to have Pan Asian food ...
The food is really good ... The prices are really reasonable.

There are two parking lots close to the restaurants.
The parking is free after 6:00 PM on weekdays and free all day Sat/Sun.

Manager was very rude & unprofessional. He was belligerant & combative in explaining their drink policy. As a manager, he should have been more professional & less aggressive. Further, the curry was bland and the ribeye steak was chewey. Definitely not worth the price. And it took the waitress 10 minutes to bring out plates & forks after we already blew out the candles on our melting ICE cream cake.

I've been to E&O a few times for dinner and have been pleasantly surprised with all of the meals. The entrees mainly consist of a spin on familiar Asian dishes (BBQ, fried rice, curries) but with a California/Thai twist. We've had the BBQ beef, seafood curry and been there for a company dinner (many different dishes) and they were all very good. Their menu may not appeal to the mainstream as they do have some odd twists, i.e. pineapple in the curry, chilies in the fried rice entre, kim chi in the Korean BBQ plate (makes the most sense but kim chi is an acquired taste), etc. However, I found these twists a refreshing change of pace. Pricing is reasonable, most under $20 for a good sized entre.

This place is not worth your money for the taste and quality of the food. I tried about five different plates here and the only decent one was the corn fritters. There are many other Asian restaurants far better than this one.

We noticed E&O Trading company and decided to give it a try. Our first time there, and the place is beautiful. The draw back is the poor service and the cost of the food. We ordered our food (small plates) that ended up costing us more money. We had to flag down our waitress 20 minutes after we finished our last bite (she never checked on us once). Terrible service for such a nice place

I really enjoyed this place, not only was the food great but the amoshpere divine. Ribs were awesome accompanied with jasimine rice. Nice place for a date, but expect a wait. It took about 20 mins to get seated, which was odd since there seem to be tables available. Overall great, but be prepared to wave down a waiter.

The food is good, but not worth the price. The corn fritters are great but the shredded meat for the lettuce cups is way too salty- too overpowering. Every time I've been there with a few people, the bill ends up being overwhelming- for just a few drinks and 2 or 3 appetizers for the whole table.

The restaurant was half empty (half full?) on a Monday night, yet it still took us over twenty minutes to be seated. Were the three waiters for the ten tables over burdened? I think not. Once seated, we order a bottle of wine, which took some time to get to our table, too. Our appatizer arrived AFTER our dinner did, and our dinner arrived only AFTER we commented that it was taking so long to come. So, a meal that should have taken an hour ended up taking two and a half. Thank goodness we were in good company! Go here only if you have time to spare.

The Asian side of the fusion equation wasn't very authentic. More and more fusion restaurants are very gimicky - this might be one of them. Definitely appeals to the non-Asian diner. Please don't use peanut butter in your peanut sauce. The food overall was okay but overpriced. The waiter was a bit condescending.
