How can you beat Harry's? It's true. They welcome the kids from BHS and the officers from BPD and you'll frequently see both groups there whether sipping coffee or chowing down on some good American Coffee Shop eats. The coffee is good and

The best thing about this restaurant is the outside seating area with the heat lamp/torches. If you smoke this is a good thing and if you dont then you need to sit inside. Its one of the few all night restaurants so its gets rather busy on the weekends. The food is typical diner food, but the I believe the owner is Greek, so the salads have Feta cheese if you want along with Greek olives. The servings are large, counter and booth seating besides the outdoor seating. The bathrooms could be cleaner and the waitresses will kind of give you the boot if you stay too long and get too many refills. I like the breakfast items and soups the best, and find that this type of atmosphere reminds me of high school and old movies. Service is pretty quick and has a good ambience. There is parking either on the street or in the lot in the back.

For those of you that like the feeling of a greasy spoon, yet insist on a casual dining environment, this is the place for you. Most of the staff have been working in foodservice forever, so they know what they're doing.

This place has been a staple in Burbank all my 34 years. They didn't always have a patio, but they do now, and it's wonderful to sit there with all the trees growing up around the fence on a nice, breezy day and enjoy your meal.

The portions here are pretty big, comparatively speaking, and the fun is, mmm, mmm, good. Anytime I'm in the neighborhood, I usually stop by for a snack or a meal. It's definitely a favorite.

PROS: good food, great prices, patio dining
CONS: could use a good remodeling on the interior

I just love Harry's Family Restaurant. I think they have the best breakfast in Burbank. The service is always lightening quick and the prices are just right. The coffee is so rich and fragrant and it's made fresh all day. I've been in at 2 am and been served really fresh coffee. I am particularly fond of the waffles at Harry's. I don't know what they do differently than every other breakfast stop, but there is something special about the waffles at Harry's. The lunch and dinner menus are equally good, I'm just biased towards breakfast.
