We rented a room for 4th of July and invited family over! We swam all day and ate bar-b-Que brought from home! No one bothered us. Plus one of the staff brought out a table cloth for the nice table under the awning. Would do this again! Big Swimming Pool!

We've stayed at this Hyatt several times over the past few years. It is a little outdated and looks like a motel. I would say it is not as good as some other hyatt. The price is resonable. The room is clean but small. The pool is good and the staff is polite and helpful. The location is convenient. For the price it is a good value but it surely not like a typical Hyatt.

nice gardens

This Hyatt is pretty low key. Although its in downtown San Jose near the airport, it doesn't look like your typical highrise hotel. In fact, it's the opposite. It is sprawled out in all one level with the buildings separated from one to four. There are walkway paths and gardens in the middle of the outdoor patio area, not to mention a nice gazebo for ceremonies. The hotel room was very small and the bed took up most of the space. The bathroom was downright tiny. Everything was clean.
PROS: outdoor garden, spread out design, clean
CONS: small room
