El Gallito Restaurant

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The only thing wrong is that they close for 6 weeks in the summer and I can't go there! Their chicken mole is some of the best I've ever had.

We have been going to El Gallito's for 15 years at least once a month and we live 45 miles from there. The servers know us by name and are very friendly. My husband likes the Carne Asada Steak and I go for the Steak Rancheo both are excellent. We are always sad to see them close for the summer because we cannot find another Mexican restaurant that even comes close on the taste and value of what you receive.

We went to El Gallito on 12/29/05 and 1/2/06--obviously we liked it the first visit so we went back--all the food was homemade, very flavorable, and served piping hot--good service and friendly staff

PROS: Great Mexican food, good service
CONS: Don't accept credit cards
