Ratings_icons Excellent Service

Ada O.

I have been taking my pets or as I prefer to call them, my other kids, to Garfield Animal Hospital since 1993 to the present. I have nothing but praise for the doctor and his loving and caring staff. I have referred friends, who are also very happy with the services. The doctor does educate pet owners and takes the time to provide good loving care. The prices are fair but the service is priceless! I am very happy with Garfield Animal Hospital and highly recommend it. ACO

Ratings_icons Very Good Service

Tracy M.

I have been going to Garfield Animal Hospital and I am pleased to say that I am greatly satisfied with their service. Every time that my friend and I take our dog the veterinarian always informs us on what shot he is giving to the dog or in our case what can help cure our little bundle of joy. They treat our dog with care and answer any questions that we may have about our dog. Unlike others how may have visited Garfield Animal Hospital the Television has never been on and I was not obviously not informed on the topic , which was being announced on the Television because they devote their time to give their costumers 100% satisfaction and care.

Ratings_icons Garfield Animal Hospital is the Best!

I have Been using Garfield Animal Hospital for many many years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. Ashiq and his staff are kind and gentle. Dr. Ashiq is very patient and likes to educate the owners of his patients. Especially children. He has even shown me things under the microscope. I have recommended Garfield Animal Hospital numerous times and will continue to do so.

Ratings_icons very bad

Bill S.

We had a very bad experience with Garfield Animal Hospital this last Monday. We went there because our dog was bitten by more than one tick and I was worried that he might have contracted Lyme disease or something worse. I called Garfield Animal Hospital and they told me over the phone that they can administer the preventative Lyme disease shot to my dog and take some of his blood for a blood test. When we saw the veterinarian, Dr. Mohammed, he did not let us ask him any questions about our dogs condition, and when we tried to explain to him how, when, where and what happened to our dog he just did not care. He was very tense about something that he heard on the news and did not pay us any attention. To my even more surprise he refused to do a blood test and the preventative Lyme disease shot. In the end he told me that my dog is fat and he has bad teeth. My dog is and always has been in tip top shape. If I didn't have bad teeth and a big belly I would of thought he was just talking nonsense. We left there with nothing but a bill and a better understanding of the conflict in the middle east. Thank you, Dr. Mohammed Ashiq, for absolutely nothing.

Ratings_icons Very good "neighborhood" vet

Neil C.

Dr. Muhammed Ashiq is a gentle, intuitive fellow who clearly loves his work, and has a dedication to his clients in this lower-middle-class section of town. A sole practitioner and general vet who performs surgery himself, his moderate Pakistani accent is sometimes an obstacle to clear first-attempt communication, and his diagnostic train-of-though occasionally gets ahead of the case, but he is willing to discuss details, and even show you interesting stuff under the microscope. Economy-minded, he adjust prices when he realizes they are higher-than-expected, and the office has cut-rate vaccination clinics on Saturdays.
His staff are quick to get to know you- and your critter, and always pleasant.
