My husband had his holiday party here and we also stayed in the hotel. Our room had a very contemporary feel and was very nice. The staff made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Service and friendliness of staff was excellent. Hotel is beautiful and rooms very nice. Food also very good. I ordered room service for dinner and it was fast, and very good. the server was excellent

This hotel/resort was absolutely fantastic. We stayed there overnight on our way to Sea World and were very impressed.
From the time we walked into the foyer until the time we left the parking lot, the service was impeccable.
We actually were able to buy our tickets to Sea World here, so we didnt have to get into another line when we actually got there.
Highly recommended.

This hotel is beautiful -- we had our wedding here, and the atmosphere was bright and relaxed. Meredith of the catering department is the one of the nicest people we have ever met, and was extremely organized and timely with every aspect of the planning process. All of the vendors we spoke to around San Diego breathed a sigh of relief when they heard she was handling the wedding site! They all loved her.
The hotel itself was designed by Michael Graves, very modern feel. The services were excellent. The courtyard for the wedding ceremony was perfect, and provided a natural feel with the surrounding square of tall palm trees. The Reception area is what sold us though-- it was a Glass pavilion, next to the ceremony area, with high curved ceilings. The surrounding landscaping provided a nice outdoor feel. Adding votive candles along the window sills created a fantastic ambience.
By being near the coast, you also get the nice ocean breeze, and in the middle of July, the weather was sunny, yet cool. Perfect for pictures in suits and gowns.
