Chipotle has tried to take on the fast-food Mexican genre with a Southwest twist. They add chipotle chiles, corn, and black beans to their dishes to mix things up in the burrito world. Burritos, by the way, would be their specialty, and they stuff them with beef or chicken fajitas, rice, beans, and veggies. The meals are huge, and kept warm in tin foil. However, the meals are very high in calories and fairly high in fat. I wish they would offer smaller meals. Alternatively, a lower-fat tortilla would be an option (corn tortillas, perhaps). I also don't like how the spices are infused so heavily into all of their dishes- a more natural, pure flavor in the rice and meat would be a good option.
This place has really good Tex-Mex, for fast food. The chips are really good and salty. They have really strong Margaritas for only 3.00!!!
The food is cheap and great. The salsa is great. Not much of an environment, it is small. But it is clean and you can people watch out of the window, if your company sucks or your by yourself:)).
