Late at night my 2 yr. old beloved cat became very ill. He looked so bad I was crying as I brought him in to them after calling. They took him in the back without any questions about his symptoms. Through my tears the clerk firmly pressed me to get the papers filled out. There were no other patients there at all. I was kept in the waiting room. Clerk kept calling him a 'dog'.?? A woman came out and said you have a big decision. More tears. She said we can do surgery, etc... but it are very expensive & he still may not make it. ** Nothing was said of 'what' was wrong.?? I asked 4 times. She finally said they don't know but it was too expensive. She did not give me her name or her title. Was she a Vet? She was very unclear, no name tag. I agreed to not have an operation to 'explore', etc. and to have him put down.
I got time with him in a room to say goodby. After 2 minutes, the same woman walked in "are you done?" No. Want more time? Yes! .. 2 min later that repeated and she sat down before leaving. (I am thinking this is a 'charged for' consultation!)? Four more times after I had asked to please Not be interrupted. She said "We had better hurry to put him down OR he will die on his own!" So??? This was like being in a bad, B movie! I was never left alone for more than 2 min. They gave him the shot & sent me to sign more paper work still calling him "your dog". It was $350 and they refused to give me a 'breakdown' of services I was paying for.
I called again the next day for a breakdown. No! ... we don't have one! Don't even know what I received for $350, but this was a unforgettable horrible experience. I am a real customer. This is really what happened. My vet said he has heard several complaints about them from other clients. Their 'high' rating here is flat out wrong!

Our pet became very ill one night after regular vet hours. We took her to Ohlone emergency vet. The receptionist was quick to find out what was happening and get our pet in to see the doctor. When the doctor came in she sat on the floor with our sick animal. She made us feel that our pet was in the best of hands. Our pet made a full recovery.

We had to take our dog here in the evening when she was vomitting and had diarrhea. The vet on duty was very senstive and caring and explained everything very clearly to us and presented us with a few options for care and even priced things out for us. Our dog made a full recovery after a few days and we were very grateful for the profesional care and would highly recommend this vet.
