Delicious Authentic Singaporean Food  5 Star Rating - World class

Strictly speaking there is no such thing as Singaporean Cuisine. It is really a hodgepodge of Chinese, Thai, Indian, Indonesian, and other Asia Cusines. Whatever it may be, all the dishes served at Shiok are absolutely delicious.

Love the food!  5 Star Rating - World class

Shiok has delicious pan-Asian food...I highly recommend the roti dish. It's hearty, and you get a huge portion, but it's soft, buttery, and very, very yummy! Other noteworthy menu items are the grilled prawns and the white fish.

PROS: variety, creativity, flavors
CONS: gets busy at rush hours

Love it  5 Star Rating - World class

We love this Menlo Park Restaurant. Menlo Park downtown sucks, but this place makes it worth going to. We love the Roti Prata! The best around, however the curry sauce at Thaiphoon is much better. You really have to try this place if you like Thai or Singaporean Fusion.

Tasty and relaxing 4 Star Rating - Very good

I've eaten here several times and always have a good experience. The menu is diverse and affordable. My wife and I always get 5+ dishes. The sea bass and chili crab and amazing. The staff is very friendly and the setting is relaxing and casual.

Just average and pricey 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

The food was OK, nothing special, and the portions were small for the price. We had 2 appetizers, and 3 entrees, the ostrich, pepper prawns and seabass. I felt it was not enough food for 4 people. We ordered rice for 4 and it came in a bowl as if it were for 2 people. I would look for another Singaporean restaurant in the Bay Area.

Pros: Easy parking
Cons: Value, small portions

This is one of the best places to eat in the area. They are very nice and the service is great. Check out all the tea selections they have, yum.

Singapore Fusion!!! 4 Star Rating - Very good

This is authentic singaporean: malay based recipes with chinese cook, mixed in with some indian and then misprononounced to be something you can call Singlish. I like to look at the menu and see chicken rice SURROUNDED by chili based foods. It looks like a little yellow dot in a sea of red.

Finally, Lunch for Adults ... 5 Star Rating - World class

I recently got the "Cholesterol lecture" from my doctor ... no panic, just eat better and exercise. I quickly discovered how hard is was to eat well for lunch. A burger with fries? Eeek!

I finally found Shiok. For $6.95 I get a tasty (and surprisingly healthy) complete meal with meat, rice, vegetable and salad. And not garbage steam table Chinese. Don't tell the doctor that we share the Roti Prata (bread with curry dipping sauce) for appetizer.

Pros: Great Lunch, Nice Environment
Cons: One Hour Parking
