Well, I have gone for several Friday Gospel nights....wow, can't tell if the music is GOSPEL most of the time, the DJ just sets the music to play and goes out to skate and show off but doesn't really play traditional or even popular gospel music...the music is not played with skating in mind...suggestions have been made to play more traditional or top 100 gospel music but no changes have yet been made...mostly the music is boring and not popular...the refs are, well, cordial (not friendly)...the skates are pretty worn and uncomfortable but... GOOD POINTS: the floor is in great shape and the price isn't too bad

Skate-Depot use to be the place that was exciting to be at it was a nice facility, the people were nice but now at my last visit which had been the first in a while the staff was very rude and made bias gestures. I felt very uncomfortable and the place looked horrible in comparison to what it use to look like. The style was geared to the youth but yet they push for a older crowd. The skates look like the same ones they used 10 years ago and frankly i felt as it the dreams were over. Sad but true I didn't feel as safe as the website had stated. I was very disappointed. Also the staff failed to recognize me for correct service instead I was addressed to in a loud tone and quick snaps with laughter amongst them. Good luck to those who try to be treated the right way customer service is suppose to be provided.

Pros: Semi-easy to find

Cons: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNSAFE, RUN_DOWN, despicable

This was our second birthday "Ultimate Birthday Party" experience at Skate Depot. Last year, the hostess was helpful, music was great, and the Sat. afternoon session was perfect for the kids, all of whom were under 11 yrs. of age. This year, the music was too loud to even begin to shout at one another, the quality of rental skates was actually a safety hazard, as was the quality of the rink itself. There were older people who were not too aware of the children on the rink, and the host was the laziest human being imaginable. His lack of customer service faux pas are too numerous to list. We won't return.

PROS: conveniently located
CONS: all employees display terrible customer service, and have bad attitudes

My daugther firt went to skate depot during her friend's birthday party. She was in the first grade. She had a great time there. Then I took my family there and found stake depot to be very nosiey and the staking ring was smaller then I thought, Well, its only a bunch of skaters going around in circles. So, while my daughter was skating, my wife and I got hungry, so I bought some pizza and pretzel. I advice is, bring your own food.......the staff is just OK, not the friendliest employees. The place was fairly clean but a little tight in some spots. oh, the rental skates were pretty beat up too.

PROS: In a good area, cerritos
CONS: semi-friendly staff/ old rental skates

The popularity of Skate Depot kind of waxes and wanes with the popularity of skating itself. The cost is comparable to taking your kids to the movies. Two hour skate sessions for kids start at $5.50 with a $2.00 skate rental charge. Adults are $8.50 with a $2.50 skate rental charge. There are group lessons (7 weeks for $60), afternoons and evening sessions and theme nights (couples, parent/child, etc.) The best time to go is with an organized group, such as a special night with your school. Skate Depot is in a good part of town (Best Plaza) but it is not really the kind of place you drop your kids off by themselves for the afternoon and pick them up before dinner anymore.

I don't really skate well, and going here didn't help. All you basically do is skate around in circles without anyone helping you out. Gets boring after a while. This place is basically for people who go out dating and for children. Dates will hold hands while they skate and children will hold their parent's hands while they also skate.

I'm not a skater, but I did enjoy my time here. I tried skating, and it was disastrous. I fell many times. However, I had fun falling! People would skate in circle in their rink. Everyone seemed to have a smile. Also, skating here is
