Cheesecake Factory

I adore the Cheesecake Factory- I've never ordered anything I didn't like. Their Spicy Cajun Chicken pasta is to die for and their Godiva Cheesecake is heavan on a plate! Hungry yet?

I used to go to Cheescake Factory a lot, but recently (2005) their cooking have been declining. I went to Irvine branch with friends, and one ordered a dish that was so bland. We made a remark and manager made us feel uncomfortable by saying "this is one of our spiciest dish" as if our taste buds are off. Plus, the rice was half raw. I told my friend to stop eating or he'll get an upset stomach. My dish wasn't that great either. We paid for $60, and hopped over to the food court. Worst experience ever. I gave up on Newport location too.

PROS: Some dishes were great prior my 2005 experience
CONS: Why did we wait for 30 min to eat half cooked rice?

I've been here more than ten times and each time I try something new on the menu. I'm always impressed with the meals and the generosity of the servings. Though the wait can be long on the weekends, there is plenty of time to stroll the outdoor mall. Aside from the meals and appetizers, the cheesecake is superb especially the Dulce de Leche and the Snickers Cheesecakes. When I want a good hearty meal, Cheesecake Factory in Newport Beach is first on my list

the cheesecake here is the best ive ever had. though once i had horrible service, i kept coming back, undaunted. ive never had that problem with another employee. trust me, the cheesecake is always worth the drive. so if you live far, dont doubt the factory. its deeeelish.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to come to on a Sunday. It's in Fashion Island in Newport Beach so you can stroll around while you wait to be seated. They give you a pager that vibrates and then you know it's time to be seated. The menu here is enormous and the servings are equally huge. The food is well prepared and I have always enjoyed everything I tried. Try the terryaki chicken, the chicken caesar salad, the mashed potatos are incredible, the list goes on and on. Don't forget to save some room for the cheesecake. Try the Snickers cheesecake you'll love it.
