First thing the old man, sorry I forget his name, said to me was, "you must get a lot of interference with that radio, you should get a better one". At that point I didn't like the store, however I was there and said let me get what I came to get. I asked for a bearing for my rc and was given a box of bearing and was asked to look and see if I can find what I wanted. Poor service. They carried no hopup parts for my team associated rc, and only a few of the basic parts, no shock towers.....poor selection. When I was ready to go pay for my stuff, I waited for about 2 min while the old man, again, was talking on the phone. He commented to the other person, " let me tell this person how much he owes me. Had to wait another minute as he talked for my change. I only go as super last resort, even then I find myself disappointed as they do not have what I need.

The shop has a great selection of R/C models and gear, especially on the high end. I know of no hobby shop in the area that covers all hobbies, but the Whistle Stop on Colorado has a fabulous selection of model train stuff. It's worth stopping in just to see it. Further afield, the Burbank House of Hobbies is the place to go for automotive, military and aerospace models. All three stores carry tools and supplies that are useful for modelers of all kinds. And all are staffed by friendly and helpful enthusiasts who make "newbies" feel welcome.

This is essentially a R/C car shop, not a true hobby shop in any sense of the word. The selection is very poor, although the lighting in the store is very good. Location is good (just off the 210 fwy). Parking is easy and everything is fairly priced but there is little you would want to buy.
